    I agree.

But while they aren’t defenders, we do have guards. We have no size and I Honestly don’t expect Vando or Wood to return at this point.

I certainly won’t pass on a good wing if one emerges but I would prioritize a big man.

If we grab a decent big, he won't be.
Lebron was the third best rebounder in Cleveland, playing with Love and Thompson.

He avg slightly more reb per game, than Dwight on the chip team.

Now..it's a sizable gap between him and anyone else, behind AD. I don't think that's a winning proposition.

I think Rob is going to make a decent move, maybe two. We aren't that far off, from being a legit contender IMO.

Yeah I'm actually a bit surprised at Russell's performance thus far. I don't like him as a playoff fit, but he has usefulness during the regular season. He's been pretty much dogging it, so far this season.

We are due for a paradigm shift, from what best for Lebron, to what's best for AD soon. Well actually..ASAP IMO.

I’d love to get Kuz back. 6’9-6’10 wing who can score, defend and rebound.

Defensive rating doesn't seem to be a very reliable defensive stat. As you mentioned, it seems team-dependent. With that said, I still dont think Kuzma is a good defender.

Get to the back of the line. No one wants to go there to backup TP

using what? if you think our trade bait is bad, check out portis and connaughton's numbers. i guess middleton's having an ok year, but i can't imagine that's what milwaukee (or the nets) would want. and the bucks have no picks to move, like literally stepien-ed out.

i honestly have no idea where schroder got his defensive rep around here. there's basically no metric that has him positive there, career long. he's as bad as dlo or worse on that end, consistently.

Middleton has been out all season, offseason surgery on both ankles. That's why the Bucks have been off to a slow start. I saw an article last night saying that he's been ramping up for a couple of weeks, and should be back next week or so.

lol, sorry--haven't watched the bucks at all and misread the stats. he had an ok year last year. that's very concerning for them.

We are blessed (knock on wood )with Lebron and AD being healthy lately. That's why I'm still optimistic.

He seems "faster" than most guards in attempting to stay in front of the other fast guards and he is seemingly a tough little sob.

i think he is both tough and fast, but he is also small, not particularly strong, and has a pretty low hoop iq. these latter facts cancel out the former strengths, and it has been the case at every stop, in every system. he looks the part of a defender, but doesn't play it.

meanwhile, kyle lowry's fat a**--at age 38--is pulling a marc gasol special and continuing to be a defensive force at the pg spot.

mike conley is also still good here; highlighting that hoop iq is probably as or more important than athleticism on defense. especially at the pg. you're going to get screened off the ball almost every play, so bulldog containment is nothing compared to screen navigation, switchability, playing angles, etc.
