this is where ballmer's deep pockets and lue's coaching (i'll begrudgingly admit he's good--just not as good as people say) come in. they're going to rebound, defend, set screens, etc. while some teams won't. i don't think kawhi will miss the whole season, and they'll have at least one of kawhi/harden at all times. lue can make that work. ironically, i feel like he's struggled when he's actually had the pieces. very doc rivers-ish in this way.
What do you think about this experience Good, bad , don't care Intuit Dome: I Bought Nachos With My Face! "Big Brother is watching you...buy beer and nachos" Those are words I never thought I'd type. At a concert at the new Intuit Dome Friday, everything from entering the arena to buying concessions is accomplished through facial recognition. A light turns from red to green, not unlike a traffic signal, and you're go to go. No tickets. No phone (you have to download an app). No credit card. As you enter a concession area, a red light will stop you until your face is recognized, then the light turns green and the door opens. Grab what you desire off a shelf and exit the area. A green light will reopen the door and let you leave and your account is charged for whatever items are in your possession. Kinda creepy, but very efficient, to say the least. "The Future is Now"
The Flippers suck! Lol..the Beard is looking about washed, and the Heyena is over there, sitting on the bench, looking like Goofy!!
they keep winning close games, though. they'll be competitive all year unless they lose both harden and kawhi. they're play-in/first round fodder in the best case, but they're not going to bottom out.
it's personally upsetting for me that i kind of like late-career harden. and let's be real, here: not a single person on earth hated early and mid-career harden more than i did. i just think we're finally seeing him how he was supposed to be: a sort-of-inefficient-yet-really-effective offensive hub around whom you could scheme to make a credible team. strip away the FTA bs, and you have a strong, super-skilled player with flaws but who loves to compete. i just wish he had a shred of honor when he was at the peak of his powers. and i get the incentives, but as a fan...ick. SGA isn't quite as bad for me, but he's the new version of a guy who's just found little ways to cheat the refs that lead to big advantages. anyway, now that harden isn't treated differently than everyone else, i can appreciate him more. and the clips shouldn't be above .500 minus kawhi, but they are. and lue will get the credit, but imo, it's largely just borrowing dantoni's harden theory. no way norman powell puts up these numbers next to most other back court players.
Fair, but counter-argument, f*** James Harden. He ruined the game for a while, and inspired a generation of kids to play his garbage foul-baiting style.
That is probably most are using the fancy toilets but it's likely the REAL L.A. team is doing better than expected.
yeah, wade's got him a ring, too. that was shameful for the league. harden just elevated it to an terrible art form.
