DLO is really going to like that Memphis BBQ. Pip will likely outscore and outplay him. He has a reason to circle this date. To DLO, it's just another Wednesday on the road. Pip is 13th in APG and 9th in total assists. Ouch!
We really need to find a way to move on from DLo, we’re never going to win with how he defends and how unathletic our backcourt is. We also still can’t shoot threes, tonight LeBron was 6-11, rest of the team was 9-37. Mostly though, we have zero depth, this was always the issues, we cannot survive any injuries. Yes obviously we can’t win without AD, but even losing Rui causes huge issues.
It really sucks that I feel we'll again be a team fighting for the last couple of Playoffs/Play-in) spots, and I just don't think we can really compete for much more than giving some war in the First Round, being an annoying first round opponent. I also have a hard time seeing us out of this mid team hole for a while. Anthony Davis is a monster, but we just don't have enough team to seriously compete. We'd need some really nice magic from our front office to change our destiny, and I just have absolutely no trust in them to get it done. I want to be wrong of course, but I don't think we're on a good position right now.
Hayes is probable for Friday's game against the 76ers due to left knee soreness Davis is probable, but close to not playing Kolokko didn't played in ages and can't get 25 -30 minutes yet. Ohh ,boy.Dramond will get at least 20+ rebounds
Hopefully they don't need too much production from bench Lakers say Anthony Davis (left plantar fasciitis), Rui Hachimura (illness) and Jaxson Hayes (left knee soreness) will be available tonight vs. 76ers.
spurs sat vassell and wemby for the game against dallas, so i guess pop is still pulling the strings from his recovery room.
That’s been the only..not really positive, you always want players to succeed, but I guess consolations(?) of this early season, Whitmore, Jaquez, and Podziemski are all having down seasons compared to last year, none have looked amazing at all. Still sucks, but it just shows how much of a roll of the dice the draft is.
we have time to become a really solid team by the playoffs. With some ancillary moves, things could get really interesting.
Next 5 are going to be tough. Magic rolling even without Banchero, Durant probably pulls the I'm back because the Lakers are in town, etc. Team needs Rui to heal up but JJ to get him in the bench unit with Dlo. You can see the outline of a title contender now but need to get around the office politics and injuries
