He has 3 years in the NBA and international FIBA competition head start on him, plus the assignment every game of the toughest guard cover.

I don't disagree, I am saying that taking into account experience and coaching, DK has all the tools to be just as good as AR and better than the rest of them. And he sometimes already is. He is bigger and stronger than AR, I think, so should be able, already, guard up to SF, which is not something I'd like AR to do.

I’m expecting a 30 pt explosion soon when things settle down with the rotation, JJ will decline playing the other bench players over Dalton to appear fair, when his “Taurean Prince” is so much better

    make him earn it

He'll benefit more in the long run by having to step up - even if in limited minutes

Starter today. Great decision by JJ, I like how he makes the simple and common sense ones. Weirdly, that's a "praisable" thing lol

I told the front office to trade up to get Edey ..... literally. A detailed email to the web site from a long time fan with all the good reasons why, and asking for it to be passed along .... just in case no one was taking him seriously. :D

hey, if edey was there at 17, it would have been a tough call for me between him and knecht. but he wasn't, and we're ok there.

He sucked but I still like what I see from him.

Feel the game is just a little too fast for him against starter level players. Once it slows down hell start hitting s***s and doing effective counters

Thought the same today. Game is too fast indeed. It sucks, he's not doing anything in the court. It will come with time for sure but we don't have it

I think he’ll be fine as well, he’s an NBA player, but you can’t rely on a rookie to save us in situations like this.

He was the BIGGER "need" .... literally :D but I understand what you're saying. Knecht's going to be really good I think. As will Zach.

Last night we could have used Vando as a substitute starter for sure. Too bad he’s still out. I like Knecht a lot, he just has to find his way with more time.

Kind if weird how Knecht went from playing 8 minutes against the Pistons to starting against Memphis. Knecht is 24 and played 5 years of college, so he shouldn't be treated like your typical rookie. Reddick needs to throw him in there and not be concerned with bringing him along slowly. He is much closer to a finished product than a one and done player for example.
