If you want to a win a playoff game: no doubt in my mind Schroeder is a better player just because despite his size he can be a good defensive asset as he can fight thru screens and is able to stay with quick guards. Doesn't mean his size can't be exploited but Dlo lack of any defensive ability really just kills the Lakers against good teams

In other words I could go with saying DLo is a better player against bad teams but clearly worse then Dennis against playoff caliber opponents

I think it's interesting that teams are avoiding going at both Rui and Reaves. This is a pleasant surprise despite the Cavs blowout. Really shows something that teams that feature Mitchell, Durant, and Ant choose to avoid those two. I know Durant and Mitchell got AR a few times but clearly they were not looking for that matchup.

Before the Lakers make a move I would love to see if JJ even is willing to do this putting Vando at the PG spot with the starters. I think this makes the Lakers very imposing defensively and on the glass. Vando has always been able to bring up the ball up the court.

The big question is congestion in the 1/2 defense but last year he was able to bust those defenses open in his brief healthy spurt.

Otherwise I would really be interested in a swap of Dlo for Bruce Brown. Rui is bringing too much too the table to lose him unless you're getting a lot back right now. Need a defensive wing with switchability and can help bring the ball up the floor and setup the other guys.

Meh..He didn't do anything with any of our young guys period. Tucker, JHS, Lewis, Max, Huff or Castleton. I don't think he should get all that much credit for Austin or Rui either. I haven't seen enough of Vanderbilt on the court, to say he had any impact on him.

Handy was overrated IMO. His best work was years ago with Kyrie and the Hyena.

Yeah..I like Dennis more in the playoffs. Tinkerbell is more talented tho, he really should be our 3rd best player, dude can drain a 30 footer off the catch, with a flick of the wrist. That's an elite skill set, he just disappears in crunch time. If he's not dropping shots, he becomes unplayable. Dennis can go 1-9 and still make plays for you late in games.

Dennis actually has that level of confidence, that Tinkerbell claims to have.

DLO + JHS combined contracts are $22,562,147. Dlo + JHS expirings could get Cam Johnson, Clint Capela, Lonzo, Brogdon, Hunter and others. If they are doing a 2 for 1 trade and take back less money, these are the players in that range. Might be able to get Johnson or Hunter without any picks going out. Straight salary dump by Brooklyn. Capela, Brogdon, and Lonzo are expirings themselves, so those options would require draft picks. Probably two seconds. I wouldn't include a 1st for these players.

Doc should be fired today and never hired again.
They are losing to Memphis who is playing without Bane and Smart by 30 points:LLLLLebronlaughing:
And Prince is again playing same minutes as Gianni's or Lillard
    And Lillard is -38

Maybe our development staff just isn’t very good and needs to be evaluated or added to?

everything always leads back to ham lmao

but like i said earlier, nothing about pippen's game stood out at all from what i saw during his time with the lakers. good on him for earning meaningful minutes in memphis and looking like he'll have a place in the league, but it certainly didn't look that way when he was a laker. and he wasn't going to get those minutes here regardless. it's ok, there will always be those guys who got away

It's context too. We are constantly trying to win and there's insane pressure to be good right away in LA. In other teams, players have more opportunities and are able to make mistakes. I mean, everyone is already killing Max, so we can't really complain about not developing our youngsters. You can't have both

JHS is probably playing better than Pippen did here too

yep and yep. pippen probably looked worse than jhs here and was older and smaller. everyone acting like jhs couldn't possibly play somewhere else is strange to me. everyone already mad about max's extension is also pretty wild.

i will say that it's going to be VERY interesting watching max and jhs going forward, as we very clearly made our bets.

anyway, when pippen goes off on us in the upcoming memphis game, i might take a couple days off from this place, lol.

You know it's coming. He had the Bucks game circled to take it to Ham. We don't have the speed at guard to keep up with him. He's going to carve us like a pumpkin.

…. are you going to man up and take the black olives and juice?

    :LLLLLebronlaughing:

btw …. Pip Jr I thought showed more than JHS has when given his chances. If anything it seemed he was more challenged simply for his size than lack of game. No doubt has gotten stronger, quicker and is shooting the rock better. Stuck with it. Bronny will too.

lol, f*** off, danny. kessler may not be worth one first rounder, tbh. i'd rather wait and pay less for valanciunas.
