https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/42000480/sources-bronny-james-start-lakers-g-league-split-trip Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James is expected to travel on the team's upcoming road trip from Oct. 28-Nov. 6 and then begin shuttling between the active roster and the franchise's South Bay G League affiliate, sources told ESPN on Friday
Yeah for sure, probably in the 2nd quarter too. Hopefully it doesn't hurt too much. It would be good to have him score a bucket from a Bron's pass, I imagine it's something Bron wants too. The opposite too but with less importance, I guess. Have it done so we can move on from all those records.
What's everyone's thoughts? My answer would be, if we're up 10+, let him play w LeBron for 1 min. As long as they keep the 10+, he can stay in for a few min, but if they drop 3+ points, yank him. Either that, or purely late game garbage time only.
Really cool moment for Jr and the family. Wild ride from being in Bron's arms on that floor during championship celebrations to scoring your first NBA basket there. Honestly it's more meaningful for it to happen there for him than it was for it to happen in LA even though I'm sure Jeanie would've preferred it be in LA and on national TV
We used a late 2nd on a kid who had 1st round grades before his health scares. It's good for the Lakers brand, it's good for Bron. Reports are already out that it has resulted in a more engaged and dialed in Bron during practices that they haven't typically seen from him in Octobers past. When you've been in the league for over two decades, you need a reason... if nothing else, this is that. And that's fine. Rewarding the face of our team and one of, if not the, GOATs is smart business. After the roadie, Bronny will go join the other kids in the G-League and get his reps in. Barring injury, I don't think we'll see him back up here until their season is over. I don't see why anyone is still having an issue with this. He didn't cost us the game or a double digit lead his first game and this one was over 10 minutes before he saw action.
thers no truth to the 1st rd stuff (wasnt even a 5-star recruit) , he was terrible in college even in just a few games, even more terrible in SL.....reward to Bron, laughing stock to the rest of the league
Actually nobody has been laughing and everyone has been really complimentary to Bron and the uniqueness of the moment.
check the other team forums in addition to the "analyst" saying this was purely a PR gimick and him being on the floor is disgraceful
And we should care about it because other teams' forums are usually the go-to source of reasonable takes on the Lakers?
