For all of the Warriors depth...they have no backup point guards. But they bring SIX shooting guards off the bench. When Steph sits, they mainly use Podz, sometimes Melton or Moody. Weird. They love small guards even more than Rob.

they rely heavily on draymond as a defacto pg. that's why when he's out, they're generally dog****. he's known as a defender, but he's a super heady offensive player despite not being extremely skilled as a scorer. gs got away with having guys like this (bogut, iggy, etc.) for years because they had such incredible shooting from the guard spots, hence the heavy investment there. but it's a house of cards, which is why they look like world-beaters at full strength and are one of the league's worst teams if either curry or green is out.

Good for him, he didn’t look like an NBA player here, but he stuck with it and made it

 ….poor Wade man. What an ugly face they gave him. Some of these sculptors are full of themselves it seems with what they come up with that supposedly is going to be “edgy” or whatever. Like the dude that hung all that s*** off Elgin’s arm going up for shot … like he was creating “motion blur” or something. What a fail.

Denver is losing at Toronto at half time by 8.
    Westbrook is definitely improving
He scored already 3 points and only -4
    Update: it's -15
Murray sucks and Jokic just quit:Laugh:

Cleveland is on fire and has an average margin of victory of nearly 17 points. I'm guessing they smoke us unless we have an amazing night.

Another guy who had a good career but always left with shouldn't he have been better?
I remember watching some smaller guys try to defend him like JR Smith and he shrugged them off like he was like Lebron

Good luck to the young man, that's a scary medical condition to be dealing with, for us normal folks. It could have ended his career, like with Chris Bosh. Praying for him to stay healthy.

Joe Mazzulla: NBA Should Have a Powerplay and Bring Back Fighting
    Author Kyle Fabrizio
    October 29th 12:46 PM

On Tuesday’s edition of Zolak and Bertrand, Joe Mazzulla who’s the Head Coach of the Boston C Bags, joined the show. While hypothesizing some changes that the NBA should make, Mazzulla floated around the idea of the NBA instituting a powerplay, and also bringing back fighting.

“I Wish You Could Bring Back Fighting...”
Bertrand: All right, let’s pretend we’re in an alternate universe for a second. Years from now in the NBA, we’ve been kicking around some proposed rule changes in the league.

    Joe Mazzulla: I love this.

Bertrand: Credit to Nick Wright, who has talked a lot about this on his show, and we played a clip from him earlier. How would the game change if the corner three was taken away and the arc went to the sidelines? I don’t know. Let’s call it seven, eight feet from the baseline. What happens if the corner three disappears?

Joe Mazzulla: First of all, is let’s entertain more important rules that would make the game better.

Bertrand: We could do that too. What do you got? You have some proposals.

    Zolak: Come on.

Joe Mazzulla: Hey, I mean, basketball is one of the only sports that doesn’t have a power play. I think soccer just put in the ‘blue card’ where a Guy has to go off and it’s a 10 on 9. Like we should have a power play. Because let’s say you have a technical or let’s say you get a take foul, and you get the one shot, but you’re not really you’re not really rewarded for that because if you miss it, you don’t get the reward for that take foul. So there should be like a power play where on a take foul or on a technical, you have to play five on four for five seconds or three passes.
Bertrand: Or what about for an entire possession? What if for the entire possession, it’s five on four.

Joe Mazzulla: I mean, that might be a little extreme, but I think we should institute power plays where instead of taking the ball out on the side, the guy goes to the other side of halfcourt and he can’t leave it until like three seconds.
