I've liked what I've seen more in full court pressure than early half court defense, faceup D. He's able to turn the guy a few times on the way up the court. Half court, depending on the angle they can get a step on him. But with his physical profile and athleticism, I think it's angles and reading the opponent's body language. I think he can/will improve there.

I've liked his ability to chase as well. There were a few plays that stood out defensively against Hield.

fair enough. i felt like i saw some guys just face him up on the standstill and get their hips by him, and that's not a great sign. i'm not sure i remember seeing that happen to gpII against lower competition at the same rate, for example. but i also didn't pay as much attention to gpII at this stage, so maybe it was happening.

Yeah, I paid a little attention to him the year he entered just cause of who his pops is. But didn't hyper focus on his game with Vipers or Herd in the D-League or even with the bucks before he landed with us. His defense potential stood out but wasn't paying the level of attention that everyone is paying to Bronny from day 1.

If the Griffeys are showing up, Bron and Bronny are definitely seeing the floor together.

guessing they get it out of the way early; would be nice if something positive happens so it's not a major distraction.

Didn't lose us the game. Had a couple good looks offensively. Couple decent contests defensively. Didn't get wrecked by Ant Not bad for the 14th man in his first game.

So do we have to play him every game now since we're undefeated in games he's seen the court?

Like it or not, history was made with his debut.

I was happy to see a story like that, I'm genuinely happy that the boy is capable of being a pro basketball player after what he went through last year.

Love all that, and for Max too .... he certainly needs the extra work. Liked Scott Brooks's comments on Bronny from 38 years around the league including watching young players.

One nit to pick .... hopefully now that LeBron and Bronny had their moment on the floor together, for the time being at least, and before Junior is actually worthy of post game interviews .... I hope the media and Lakers will leave it alone with the obligatory two of them together doing the Q&As after games. No need for that now. He's got to work and make himself worthy enough to be interviewed. Of course probably wishful thinking with the media leaving him alone. Just don't need them together breaking the games down. LeBron's the one with the info, not Bronny.

Have we sent Bronny down to the G-league yet?

I strongly prefer we do that so he can get his reps in and if we have injuries to our guards, he can get called up.

No reason to keep him on the active roster.
