I think he will not be available starting night. We are less than 10 days away. But it's looking like it won't take long which is great
It sounds good, but I'm skeptical of how soon he'll A) be out there. B) be back to old form. He showed when he's playing and isn't healthy, his contributions are greatly minimized. Doesn't sound like he's doing any on the court work outside of maybe 1-on-0 shooting. Conditioning and knocking off the rust is going to be a lengthy road.
I just hope they don't bring him back before he's fully healthy. We need the whole Vando, not a fraction of it. He plays with so much energy and motor that he really has to be feeling confident in his body
i kind of hope so, for the reasons stated above. he's no good to us tentative, and he's under contract for years after this. we can't end up with 4 years of dead weight because we wanted him to play november games.
Didn't I just say he's going to be out another month? LOL. Availability is everything. I'm getting sick of this...
That timeline that JJ gave was either uninformed or just dumb. No way a player is going to be back for the beginning of the season if he’s not even doing contact work on Oct. 12th.
I just realized he's actually been out since February of last year but he was "cleared" to play in R1 against Denver but we just didn't play him...so that means he's literally been out for almost a year?? Something isn't right...need to probably trade him even when he comes back because the math ain't mathin
While rationally I think you're right, emotionally I can't buy it. I recall the first few mins I saw him play for us after we got him. As a fan obsessive about defense, his gave me major wood. I just want to see him play one season healthy with us. But I think you win the argument. Sadly, for me and others who effing LOVED Vando's insanely good defense.
