this is similar to suggestions i made over the summer, i think. i actually don't think we should have to add much beyond jhs and one 2nd, either. i know everyone hates jhs, but he's very young and still has plenty of upside.

i'd hope we could get some help from richards's agent, as spending a couple years here has the potential to boost his future earning substantially compared to charlotte, imo, where they have mark williams and also nobody cares about them.

Good to hear that. I don't like that JHS seems to prefer shooting middies a lot. I don't think Reddick really wants players to do that. I mean he basically said AD, Lebron, etc. could do it some times, but idk about an proven 2nd year player. Reddick said explicitly he doesn't want the team taking 10-15 floaters a game because we don't have a Jalen Brunson. Those are the exact shots JHS likes to take.

I didn't bother to watch the video. But, I don't think that is an accurate statement. Lakers mostly always were willing to think outside the box and go the extra mile for their players. Examples are the 25 year/25 million contract given to Magic and the post-achilles contract given to Kobe. Finding a way to get DFish back after he had a serious health situation with his son. Bringing BScott and A.C, Green back to end their careers with the Lakers. Generally hiring people in the Lakers family. These are just examples that I could think of at the top of my head. I'm sure there are more examples. The Lakers seem to be understanding and family-oriented. Although I do not like the way they have treated Jerry West, I think the Lakers mostly get it.

I am not sure I agree with your comparison of legends like AC/ Magic/ Byron / D fish in the same sentence as Lebrons kid

It's a comparison to Lebron, though, not Bronny. With that being said, I get what you are saying. The Lakers gladly added DFish to their roster, as he was in the prime of his career with Golden State. Green was in his twilight but was a key member of a championship team. I think he might of even started. BScott was still fairly productive and was brought in to help mentor Kobe, so he was worth the roster spot. So, I get that Bronny is more of the Lakers taking a concession for their star player than any of the other examples that I mentioned. I forgot to mention the Lakers signing Giannis's brother. That was just as bad IMO. Another comparison is the Lakers promoting Ireland to a radio broadcaster, even though he doesn't necessarily have a great play-by-play announcer voice. He was the sideline reporter, so he was next in line. There were probably higher qualified candidates, but they were already familiar with Ireland.

Your infatuation with LeBron makes you oblivious from seeing the reality when you go after a radio play by play guy .

I be dammed to sit here and let you make fun of Mason & aIreland

With his contract being such a great bargain, I would be willing to replace the two seconds with one protected first. Not so much for Richards the player, but the contract is very good.

:LLLLLebronlaughing:I am a huge fan of them as a radio show. But are you telling me there is such a shortage of radio broadcasters that the Lakers could not find a better candidate for such a prestigious franchise in a humungous market? Do you think he has a great radio voice?

Didn’t LeBron say if we get Andre Drummond we win the title ?

didn’t we get Ham because LeBron wanted him ?

didn’t we get westbrick because LeBron wanted him ?

Yeah, Lebron would be a much better coach than GM. Maybe Lebron and AD invited Westbrook for a barbeque, and maybe they got some ideas after a few drinks, I guess. They are human beings. Who knows. That is called thinking emotionally instead of with your brain. Maybe they talked themselves into it. These moves were more to appease the two stars, not just Lebron. I know AD is the beta, but still.

I think JHS will remain on the roster until DLO is extended. Just my theory.

I really don’t put too much emphasis on play by play guys of any sports they don’t bother me at all, I can always mute them . But I get it Ireland gets hate because of the ESPN tag .

If you can tolerate Bob costas you can do anything in life

The ESPN thing doesn't bother me. I didn't make my comments because of that.

Nothing, he seems like a nice enough guy. Darvin seems like a nice guy too.

I don't dislike him. I just think they could of hired of hired a better play by play guy. He was okay as a sideline reporter, they are used very minimally compared to play by play. The old TV guys after Chick were Sunderland and Bill Myers I think. Myers was actually pretty good.
