    Still want to trade ?
INJURY UPDATE: Robert Williams III experienced a grade 1 left hamstring strain during training camp this week.

He is expected to miss two weeks, and his status will be updated as appropriate
He played 6 games in the last regular season and 35 the year before that

yipes. the mavs have a few guards, but he was quite useful for them last year. i imagine dinwiddie and jaden hardy will pick up the role.

yes, he was solid for them during their playoff run. Hope he makes a swift recovery. Love to see us play them at full strength in the playoffs.

Edwards (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason contest against the Lakers, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

If he can stay out of trouble off the court, I second that opinion.

This was a real bummer. He was an incredible defender, had an infectious laugh and enjoyment for not just basketball but for life. He paved the way and was the role model for players like Embiid and Siakam. His reach went so far beyond basketball though, he was incredibly generous and did tireless work in the community not only in the city he called home during his NBA tenure, but in Africa.

He was part of my favorite period of Hawks basketball. I went to go see that squad play all the time (Deke, Mookie, Smitty, Laettner) and they did a ton of fan meet and greets. I went to most of them. I met Deke a handful of times for a minute here or two minutes there. Great laugh and energy. I remember the first time I shook his hand, I was around 10. The tip of his middle finger reached my elbow, I'd never encountered someone that size before (that held until I met Priest Lauderdale years after his brief stint with ATL...he was HUGE)

I thought after his diagnosis he had a chance of recovery. Updates the following year...18 months seemed promising. Such a shame.

I don't think we'll ever see a finger wag in a NBA game and not think of Mt. Mutombo

I could care less whether or not any other team is at full strength or not. They never say that about us, they just pile on with the rest of the haters. Let them be injured, F'em, I don't care how we beat them, just beat them.

I could see Christie/Knecht starting at the 2 and 3 in the near future. If this is the case, could Reaves start at the 1? Or, would he come off of the bench? Reaves looked solid defensively. With Christie defending the point guards, the only question about Reaves would be, can he handle the ball?

Wore out AR last year when he was backup PG a lot of times. I think that works for a finishing lineup where you know Lebron is going to be de facto PG anyway but I don't think AR can be the point for large chunks of the game

So, lets say we didn't have Dlo, would we be okay with a line up of Reaves/Christie/Knecht/Lebron/AD? Or would Reaves be better off coming off of the bench, or traded for a point guard type?
