I don’t even remember what was wrong with Vando’s foot at this point. It’s not my health but I think if rehab was going to work, there was plenty of time already to see if that helped. He should have gotten surgery already. You can’t get paid to sit on the bench for this length of time.

The news about Vando really sucks. WTF is going on there?

i really think rudy is tremendously overrated, but the pushback on him from some angles is over the top. "worst nba player of all time"? c'mon, man. rudy accurately identifies shaq's beef (that rudy has made way too much money for someone with his talent) and accurately states that, basically, that's not his fault. was he supposed to turn down the money and accolades?

tl;dr: rudy gobert is overrated but doesn't suck.

my fear is he's done, tbh. he wasn't the picture of health before we acquired him, and i'd start operating as if he'll never play the way we hoped when we signed him to the contract. hate to say it; want to be wrong.

    LMAO hell no

In a bold move that would reshape the rosters of both the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers, this proposed trade would send Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo to the Lakers in exchange for Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Jaxson Hayes, and a 2026 1st Round Pick. This trade proposal has sparked a flurry of speculation and analysis, with intriguing implications for both teams.

    Trade Proposal
Heat Receive: G Austin Reaves, F Rui Hachimura, C Jaxson Hayes, 2026 LA Lakers 1st Round

    Lakers Receive: C Bam Adebayo

When can we get a medical exception (forgot what it’s actually called) for Vando?

if he ends up missing the whole season or is projected to do so, i think we can apply for it. right now, they're at least hoping he'll play, as the projections just have him out through the preseason.

i don't know how all that works with the second apron stuff, though.

People who don't do surgeries are p******. If the money wasn't guaranteed, he would go under the knife and would be back on the court already.
I hope he took some herbs, fragrance oils and did some meditation, d******.

What? Why? When you have access to the best doctors and procedures in the world, you use it.

i know i always look at all non-surgical treatments first. and it's not due to cost or fear of the rehab or whatever. it's just that surgery sometimes creates other unintended issues. anyway, i get waiting on it in general. now, as for the specific timing here...it is weird that surgery was considered and declined in february--when did the actual surgery happen? how long did they give the other treatment to work and was that too long?

i would say i hope our medical staff knows what they're doing, but...

He is not worth 50+ millions a season .He only wasn't injured 1 time during his whole career ,but it's NBA "bubble" contracts and nothing we can do about it

not sure what choice denver had, and his max isn't a super max, so it's not that bad.
