12 man rosters with typically 10 man rotations let's say. The other 2-3 players we have backup for any injuries. Lakers starting 5 vs Clipper starting 5 and benches with 6-10. My gut feeling without seeing any actual analysis and having not heard other thoughts on this at LB, seriously yet, since all the changes to both rosters that just took place...... is that we're maybe going to be kicking their a** this year. We're too big and strong and athletic and skilled across our roster, young or not, for them to handle us. We'll wear them out by the 4th quarter. Look how we competed last year under Byron with the little to nothing we had left after all the injuries. Look at what we have now. Their short window is closed in L.A. Maybe not a sweep but I'll go with we'll win the series.
It's not time yet at all! We don't know what the final rosters are going to look like... Too early to say which team is beating up on which.
Yeah, you're right. Getting too eager for it because I think we're going to have them, regardless of who they get for the 5 now. I'll bump it later. HA!
Really. You're above it? Don't care to avenge our beatdowns and Clippers balloons on the Lakers statues? Well you do have other "interesting" stuff to concern yourself with in your every day life obviously.
I care because of the banners and the balloons and the bloated and insecure fan base. I'd love for us to pass them this year, but we have no one on our team that is as talented as Paul OR Griffin as of right now. I think we have pieces that can be as talented as them in a few years, but right now those two are better than any two players we have barring a resurgent Kobe. I will say that I think we're way deeper than them now assuming our rookies can hold their own.
Regular season wins by the tenants don't mean anything. Small bragging rights. As Laker fans, do we rub it in the faces of Wolves or Wizard fans because we beat them in a game or season series? Nope. Never. Because it doesn't matter. Rings and parades are all I care about.
We're not getting blown out by 40 pts anymore but, let's at least check out some summer league games before judging how these kids will fare. I mean, they do have Paul Pierce and Lance Stephenson
We gotta be the best team in LA before we get another ring. Clippers you shall be another stepping stone for the Lakers, now come forth
I agree 100%, but man it's going to be nice watching that team collapse in on itself. I hate them and their hipster fans and their casual NBA knowledge. Beating them in the regular season won't mean anything to me in the long run, but it'll be nice to re-establish order in the universe.
Just imagine, we win the seies 3-1 and bump them out of the last playoff spot...even if we get swept in the 1 round, it would be worth it.
I agree that its all about banners for us. But, I can't lie. I am sick of getting beatdown by these guys. They run up the score and rub it in at every chance they get. It is far past time for some payback and to shut down all of the nonsense about them taking over LA. I'm not sure how many wins happen this year, but I do feel like we are trending up and they are coming back down to earth.
yeah no kidding. Still hoping for Cuban come out on top. Even if they keep DJ, can't wait for our games with these bleeps, long as we keep Hibbert.
