That means we need to wait until 2028 to have 3 picks to trade for a potential superstar. Pass

Anthony Davis is a power forward! A great one, one of the best power forwards to ever play this game. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. We should listen to the man, " Go and get me some quality bigs, to play with Rob."

We got a glimpse of this with the chip team. If we could have morphed Javale and Dwight into a single guy, (a big that could run the floor, rebound, protect the paint, set hard picks, and bang on people) we'd have at least 2 more chips by now.

I don't give a damn, about their 3pt shooting ability. Just give me a big, one that plays like a big.

AD is a special talent, he'd compensate, for any perceived short comings, of adding a traditional bigman IMO.

Zach Edey..come on down!!! We are the Lakers damn it!! Innovate don't emulate!! f*** what everyone else is doing.

I have a feeling a guy like Zach is the last thing on JJ's mind though. Hurley would have liked him based on his comments.

One would think that JJ, would actually be compelled to cater to AD's wishes. After all that, not an Alpha, or top 10 defensive player stuff? JJ Redick isn't stupid, Anthony Davis is the guy, that he needs to win over, if he hopes to stick around here.

Start off on the right foot, and champion whatever AD wants. Lebron is gone in a year or two.

I’m seeing Dejounte Murray’s name come up re: Lakers rumors. Look I’m a big fan but could we really get him without giving up AR?

He'd start over Austin tho. Basketball wise, he's a better fit with C'lo. That's still a problem IMO .

TBH..a lot of NBA guys, don't think much of our current roster, outside of Lebron and AD. We seem to think that, Austin, Rui and C'Lo, are borderline Allstars or something.

    Lol..it's the Coach!!!

It almost got done at the deadline, so why not?
The framework of the deal was in place already.
No, we aren’t giving up AR for Dejounte- the plan is to pair them together.

Was there ever a name (from a decent player, thru an allstar/superstar), that wasn't "tied" to the Lakers in all these BS media rumors? Serious question.

oh yeah. unless someone else trades for his contract and decides to keep it as a trade piece...again.

i wonder which one it is and to where? we've all known atlanta was moving one of them this summer. have to.

chris paul did this to the clips to get to houston. they ended up getting harrell, lou williams, and the best version of beverley (still s***ty). it was an unimpressive haul, but led to some surprisingly decent clips teams in the following couple years.

what's this version going to look like? where does PG want to go? okc can absorb a good chunk? would kenrich williams and ousmane dieng, maybe a couple firsts that the thunder need to get rid of, and a big TE would work for the clippers? nets could throw simmons' big expiring deal and some goodies? orlando, similar to okc, could move like ingles and jett howard? kings could trade barnes/huerter/lyles? lots of possibilities. rare case where both us and miami are probably not going to be involved in any way.

Why is anyone giving him a voice regarding roster construction?

That'd be a good get for Dallas. Both Dallas and NO make sense to me.

Suns are going to have to resort to open tryouts at this point.

This is great news. Expands our options. Looks like we will get some kind of big, Wheather it be via draft or trade.

Bucks are really looking like a team that will disappear slowly from being top contenders.
I already read that they'll probably move Brook, is the best fit to Giannis so that's weird.
Looks like the market will be open this year, let's see if we can make a couple good deals
