    I don’t think the level of intensity here translates to coaching pros, but that’s easily dialed back. He’s clearly good at the most important stuff, I’m really hoping this happens, of course it could not work out, but to me it’s a much better gamble than almost all the other names out there.

    Uh, not the same circumstances and I agree that Boston is probably pretty happy with their current situation… but they quite literally are on their 3rd coach within the past 4 years lol

    Stevens stepped down in 2021, then they had Udoka, now Mazzulla.

    Ugggh … just saw elsewhere Hurley’s wife is a Jersey girl “hard core E. coast” and she’ll have to be willing to give that up for the circus out here. Then again dream job offer for her husband.

    Yeah, it could be Coach K 2.0 again.

    I'll believe when it happens, but it would buck the trend of how we've been paying coaches. Hurley is easily going to be at least 6 years 60+ million. He turned down 12m/year from Kentucky.

    Religious. Just sayin’ …. I would “imagine” as a college coach he could tell a team he doesn’t want to hear constant F-bombs and mother bleep this and that … and the team would respect that or the guys would be taken aside to further make the point. Not in the pros for sure, but hopefully I’m flat wrong about it even being a concern for him.
