This team doesn’t need to get older, slower and more injury prone.CP really needs to retire

It depends on what our backcourt depth looks like and his role. Could be a valuable player-coach with his relationship with JJ (assuming that's the hire). Also is someone who Bron would listen to in the locker room.

If he agreed to a B Shaw type role I could go for that but I don’t see that with him

Zion Williamson's physical fitness trainer Jana Austin, who worked closely with him, will not return to « Pelicans » after four seasons at the club.

This season, forward « New Orleans » played 70 regular season matches. This is his best result for four career seasons.

And he still never played in playoffs

Look I like most of us abhorred the idea of LeBron coming here, for all the same reasons person wise as you, that you still can't get over. Most of us did because of what it did for the franchise and bringing AD and a ring. He has never been as unlikeable a prick for much different reasons and never a dirty player. Don't twist this.

No ChatGPT is smarter than a Bobby Marks.

Not giving up Rui or Austin in that unless Allen is coming back. But even then I'm not giving up $56m in salary to get those two.

Everyone keeps saying that all the stars will want to play here but California has lost its luster. There are a whole lot of unhappy people who are leaving this place. I belong to a Facebook group called Leaving California because we are moving next year and the level of dislike/unhappiness is kind of mind blowing.

Now, the players have more money than they know what to do with, so the economics of it are not nearly as important as it is to the rest of us, but I still imagine with all the homelessness, costs and crazy woke stuff going on, they may not want their families exposed to it. On the other hand, all NBA franchises are in fairly large metro areas and some of this stuff goes on in every single one of them.

I'm not opposed to CP3 as a 15 minutes per night or so 4th guard.

Cali gets sooo much hate for being such strong blue liberal state . Everyone points to Cali as the worst place to live in ! Yet that damn traffic is insanity ! I like your FB group, I hope you find your ideal place to live but just remember for every 100 people who leave Cali 200 people will move to Cali . This place is way overcrowded for such a horrible state to live in . Don’t ya think ?

they hate us ! They hate the Dodgers! They hate the LAKERS! They hate our freedom and they hate our sunshine . We party hard and they hate that .

You quote is not accurate. CA IS losing people and has been in the negative migration for at least 2 or 3 years. It’s still crowded because a ton of people live there but that doesn’t mean 200 move in for every 100 that move out. There’s no state in the US where that figure happens.

And to bring the discussion back to basketball, how are teams going to fill out their rosters with players making 70 and 80 million a year? Yikes.

I say this to myself every time I watch him play.
That has turned into a really bad trade for them.
