Who off their bench is supposed to produce now? They just lost their best bench scorer in Reggie Jackson. All of those guys are just system players, you need someone to run the bench. And that center rotation is average at best.
OKC almost made the playoffs without Durant and with half a Westbrook. That's a well built team. Clippers have no starting Center so yeah I think they're going to suffer a bit.
I'd love for us to snag Dorell Wright. He'd be a great vet pick at SF who can knock down the outside shot. And he's from LA.
I think Augustin and waiters would do decent job holding down the bench. And they will most likely have Durant or Westbrook on the floor with the bench at all times. Also if you think kenter/Adams /Mcgary and maybe even Ibaka at times is a avg at best then idk what you would call our center rotation currently.

Hibbert/Black/Sacre - Average at best. Hibbert is more useful than Kanter defensively to say the least. If Roy is motivated to make a comeback on his contract year, he's easily a Top 5 center. Adams is a backup, nothing Black can't do himself, and Black is younger. McGary isn't much to write about either.

He gets a ton of crap for being a bonehead, but those plays are few and far between and are merely highlighted because of Shaqtin' a Fool. He had issues in Denver because he has terrible asthma, and even George Karl admitted this. And guess what?!? He's right. I took a look at his home / away stats and he was way better in away games. That Denver elevation doesn't help him at all. Agreed. Russell and Randle are beyond crucial to future free agency pitches. That being said, in addition to Magic, how would you guys feel about giving Rick Fox a role in the organization when it comes to FA pursuits? I feel like he could be one of the most relatable athletes when it comes to balancing on-court championship success with off-court endeavors, and is a face that most of these young players recognize having grown up watching the Shaq and Kobe title teams.
A And that's why you'll continue to get what you've got. Right now there are too many people involved in the decision process, and those that are there don't have the skills needed to lure FAs. Jeanie and Jim need to step back from FA negotiations. Let Mitch select his own team and run with it. Inform potential FAs (and their agents) of the wide range of topics that can be discussed in the pitch. Let them have input on what they want to hear. Tone down the stuff they don't mention. Prepare the full presentation on all of those topics, but only provide the Cliffs Notes versions unless/until they ask for more. Get with the times on analytics. Find someone who specializes in it and hire them to run it for you. Prepare basic, intermediate and advanced versions of all reports do the audience can dig in as deep as they want. Analytics should include not just the player's data, but how it applies to the rotationsand even down to set plays. Not only should this be done for your own players, but for potential FAs you're trying to woo. Find a personable closer. Either convince the kids to patch things up with Magic, or bring back The Logo. Or find someone else who can sell the brand. Mitch can be overseer of the pitch, running the meeting. The kids should not be involved. Send in the closer. Or, you know, just be better at closing free agents. There, done.

I somewhat agree, we'll be somewhere around 35-40 imo. It's going to be hard winning 50 games with no consistent wing defense. And we have to win 50 to make the playoffs. We have the paint protected with Hibbert and Upshaw if he works out for us. We'll be better than last year at least
Griffin obviously loves the spotlight of living in LA. Doesn't want to be with CP3 anymore... hmm...I smell a match made in heaven in 2 seasons. Griffin has an ETO in 2017 and with the cap jump, wouldn't he be able to make more money opting out and re-signing even with a different team? He'd pair up nicely with Durant and Westbrook
Wow @docbrown it's hilarious how much Mavs fans are OVERRATING Lin! Lol! I hope the Mavs front office thinks the same thing...they'll be more likely to give up Justin Anderson for him then! Although, seems that most fans are NOT willing to give up Anderson...it's funny cuz if they really do think Link can be 16/6/4, then you definitely give up Justin Anderson. lol. Obviously, I think Mavs would be dumb to give him up...they are severely overrating Lin's impact..they should just sign Barea and sign Donald Sloan and call it a day..
OKC will be fine as long as KD,Westbrook and Ibaka stay healthy .... Waiters is a basketball disaster and Kanter can't defend though... I'd start Morrow and Adams ... I am curious to see what Donovan will put in place on offense
