Another year or 2.... hypothetically..... I know this is a tough pick em too....but who wins best of 7 series? Also in my opinion Julius has already changed the game in possible free agent destinations next year and the next. Just grant him good health. LeBron made his "BED" and Cleveland is locked in.
It's just too hard for me to say that Randle will be up in that territory in two years. I think he will get there, but in two years? Could be too soon still.
In Kevin Love territory? How does Love have a prayer of handling Randle on defense key and lower and after his Kobe inspired jab stepping him to death, as I am assuming Randle is consistently knocking that J down by then. Scott's training is brutal but Kobe having Julius shooting his a** off all summer and in his ear about how you become knock down clutch mentality shooter.... will be FUN in comparison. Julius has more potential to somewhat contain Love, because of his quickness and overwhelming strength in another year or so. He also in a year or so is not going to get punked.... maybe beaten, but not punked by LeBron on the switches. Kevin ....I think not so much you could say that when now he has to handle Kevin Durant.
Luckily basketball is five on five at at time, and a team sport with a roster that goes 15 deep. Yeah, too early for any of this talk. We don't have Durant, Randle's just a rook, and Lebronze and Love have just started out together. Too theoretical for me. More power to you though.
Well raspberry to you..... I hope you didn't vote in the equally hypothetic MJ/Magic vs Kobe/LeBron. What does your gut tell you about how hard Julius will be to handle when he is knocking down the J at a good %. I expect that to happen. Basketball is five on five? Weak sauce.
Nah, didn't vote in that one either. Good luck with this one though. Sorry to cast any aspersions. Have fun!
Oh yeah, and I'm loving Julius' game so far. He's already knocking that jumper down now! He hit three in a row I think last night. This kid has huge upside. And don't for a moment think I don't want Durant alongside him.
As nice as his jumpers were, his post moves were what surprised me. Despite his lack of length, that quick lefty release combined with how he puts his weight on his defender, allows him to get a shot off, and used the glass well. So exciting.
This one seems like a no brainer. If julius randle turned into James worthy in 2 years then I might actually start thinking about this one.
I agree. I have total faith and trust that he will get that but give me LBJ and Love is we're talking just strictly 2 years from now.
