We shot better from 2 and 3, yet had 10 fewer fgas. The game came down to their 5 more offensive rebounds and 5 fewer turnovers.

Absolutely hate Murray, but gotta give it to him. He’s clutch.

We were gassed at the end in Denver. Won’t be in LA.

I don’t know if we’ll win the series but we will win at least one game in LA

Lakers needs to win the next two: the basketball gods can't punish a team for going balls out on defense for two straight possessions in the final 2 minutes playing great defense and somehow you lose the possessions.

Of all the plays this was the one that was brutal: should have been Lakers up 3 with possession with only 80 seconds to play.

I mean both Lebron and Dlo had two amazing defensive plays there. The basketball gods can't let Dlo play defense like this and not give it to him back lol

Yeah Lakers shouldn't give up , I'm aware of the 10-0 thing but Reaves shows up and you have a chance

    AD and DLO.
53mins from the bench guys, 6pts/5reb/2ast/3stl... stellar performance. Rui and AR can go and suck a fat one.

AD went f****** right the last two games. Probably Rob's best trade as GM. AD is a stud.

LBJ was good. Russell broke though with great shooting.

That's all I have on the good.

Could trade everybody else on the team and fire the staff for all I care.

You know what? I used to believe this, but now I think DEN could spot us a 30 point lead in the 2nd Q and we'll still lose to them. At this point it looks like a mental block to me. Who else thought the same thing I did: we're up 20, and I thought: like Game 1, suddenly, our offense will go slack and we won't score for 4 minutes. We did that in Game 1 and lost. But I was wrong. This time there was a period when AD hit a shot and we went up 74-55 with 7:15 left in the 3rd. We didn't score ONE POINT for 4 mins, 50 secs.

    What. A. FRiKkin...NIGHTMARE.

Nah we looked gassed in the end.

What might have changed things would be if either AD or LeBron was fresh down the stretch by playing Hays for one more stretch or actually use both of our timeouts before the last play, but Ham has no concept of such things.

Details : a bad hook pass by DLO trying to find AD for a lob , an empty possession resulting in a off the dribble brick by TP , a missed Lebron FT ..

Although D-LO had a better game, Denver, just as in game 1, got more balanced scoring from their starting five. Sadly, Rui and AR don’t seem to be ready for prime time.

On the other hand, can we keep Denver shoot 24% from 3 again? They had a lot of shots go in and out.

We basically almost maxed out what we could do in that first half while they were bricking shots. This was like the prime chance to really destroy them.

Well, best case scenario is we win two home games, if I’m being a realist with the predictions. Hopefully our role players play better at home as they usually do.

the team can either regroup and feel like they know they can win JUST ONE on the road, or they can fall apart and quit.

They have to hold serve on their home court, and then they will get that chance. Not holding my breath, but this can be viewed as either encouraging or make them fall apart. Losing after being ahead by 19 or 20 is pretty embarrassing. They are not fighting only their opponent, but themselves mentally.

Rui and Austin didn’t get the ball. In the first half when Austin was running plays from the top it was very effective. Then we went away from that and LeBron, AD, and Dlo started running plays and didn’t kick the ball out to Austin anymore.

You can’t make shots if you’re not getting touches.

AR played great defense but he missed a huge 3 in the final 2 minutes. Him and Rui not being able to capitalize on the Jokic move to guard Rui was a huge.

AR missed the one 3 and then Rui missed the wide open 3 when AR went one one vs Jokic.

They need to figure out what to do with that move as they moved Gordon onto AD and they Lakers couldn't capitalize
