Man, watching Herb Jones's on-ball D reminded me of how much I miss Vando. Even though they have different bodies and personal styles on D, both guys make a difference instantly when they're on the court playing defense.

He is day-to-day. Which means he could be back against Denver.

    Or not.

Why is he so f***ing cryptic. Id love to give Ham credit by saying this is "strategy" but that's giving him too much credit..he probably has no clue cuz he's an idiot

He doesn't have a clue. There's no communication there between our s***ty coach and our s***ty medical staff. The one that was hilarious was when McMenamin broke an injury update on a player and 20 minutes later during his presser Ham said there hasn't been an update.

It's very frustrating - every Lakers writer has complained about it. We literally had to wait DAYS to get an update on AD after he got injured in the Twolves game!

You are giving him too much credit, or perhaps overthinking it. He is not cryptic and there is nothing mysterious about this -- he simply does not know.

Any update on Vando's return..? Been seeing random Social Media posts saying he may return soon, but never really know what to believe with that stuff.

I doubt he plays a minute in this series. The Nuggets were already a tough matchup for him too. I just hope this doesn't turn into a situation where they chose rehab over surgery to try and get him ready for the playoffs, but if/when we get knocked out he'll have to get surgery and be recovering all offseason/into training camp.

Or worse. He was told. In simple terms. But he is too dumb to comprehend.

The injuries and player statuses is 100% on the medical staff.

The injuries 100% .... how is that possible. S*** happens types happen to the best of staffs' players.

…. and if anyone was getting mis-diagnosed or improperly re-habbed in todays media age we’d hear about it. Like we heard about Malone’s injury 20 years ago the staff screwed up. I think without any real facts of poor treatment the training staff is just a convenient punching bag for our injury frustrations. “Reports” of their not Huge staff notwithstanding.

If you're in a boot for any reason, day to day seems like a stretch. Not to mention he's not doing any 5 on 5 work in practice.

Give it up. Not coming back this season unless we go far.

I heard that two weeks ago...and two weeks before that.
Yea, I'd finally begun to resign myself to not seeing Vando play anymore this season.

WTF is Ham saying? "He got to lovin' that big old gawky boot, so he wears it on the plane now. Said he digs the style, man. What a character. No, but seriously: Denver, if you're listening? You need to plan for Vando to suddenly be there on the bench, all suited up and ready to make your lives miserable, okay?"

Don't know about you guys, but I always wear a walking boot when I'm feeling pretty healthy and ramping up my workouts

You haven't really done, you don't really know...what hatha yoga is about until you wear a stabilizing boot on one leg. I mean this literally.
