Jordan and Ed are really interchangeable.

Hill's a better offensive rebounder which works out well for a team with Kobe who will be primarily taking jumpers. Jordan likes to work into position before the defender does before the shot goes up, and he's great at that. I'm not gonna lie either, Hill's jumper isn't that bad either. Ed is a better help defender, that athleticism and length really make a difference. He's also a better finisher around the rim than Hill, but Jordan's no slouch.

I prefer Hill because I think he brings a tougher presence than Davis, even though Davis is the better defender. I also give Hill the nod for sticking through it and with the Lakers, despite being in the dog house with MDA. He's more than earned it.

The article doesn't say Hill was drinking because of 'Antoni, or had a problem/was drinking heavily. It only says he stopped drinking alcohol. He could have been having a beer here and there or daily and just stopped.

Another point from that article, "surprising" that Hill didn't like 'Antoni's system because he averaged X amount of points/boards. Well yeah, he did, but he went out and got all that on his own, dude had zero plays called for him, he did well despite the system, and ok maybe because of it with the offensive boards from all the shots put up.

The 2011-2012 Mike Brown era wasn't really that bad. The Lakers were still 3rd seed, not too far off where they were the previous season. Although I hated the way they flamed out against OKC losing all those close games, it was the likely outcome. The D'Antoni era was just riddled with disappointment after disappointment.

Agreed that the article does not suggest that Hill was a problem drinker. Though, I do like the way everyone has admitted that MDA drove them to drink. That said, I like the fact that having MDA out of here motivated JHill to be a better player and work on his game in the offseason. This is his year to show his skills. He has been handed the keys to the car - now he needs to show us he is not a B-List player.

My recall of Mike Brown era is stained by the winless pre-season which suggested at that time that Brown had lost the team. Remember how the team bounced back when Bernie B took over the helm.... Seems to me that Browns 'success' in Cleveland was due to one LBJ and MDE.

Great game from Jordan tonight, keep it up. I would have liked it if it was Hill and Davis in during the 4th quarter especially with Hill's outside shot working tonight.

Jordan's not doing the Hustle things as well as he had in the past, but he's still doing well, and his scoring has been a treat.

Hill shot was outstanding! If teams decide like clips to leave him open to double or trap elsewhere he has to hit those shots. That was the hill I remember from Arizona. Nice game!

I think part of that is he's more involved on the offense. He can't get offensive rebounds if he's taking jumpers right? As long as he's hitting the shot it's a plus.

Yeah he wouldve for the 9 million he got out of a bush. If he comes back next year(I believe we have the team option), I hope we re-sign him after voiding his current contract to 6-7 mill tops. He is not worth that much money, ive said it several times I hope it was honestly an undercover way of front loading a contract.
