OKC might actually win this. Clippers dominating Phoenix right now. But we're in for a difficult game without AD, so...

Yeah this is unfolding in the most annoying way possible. We're getting the results around the league we want, but AD can't play because of f***ing nausea from getting hit in the eye again. He already missed most of the last Warriors game too.

Oh, plus the Warriors are shooting 60% from three.

Welp let's get this out of the way so we know what we're rooting for now...we officially do not control our own destiny and gotta really hope for some crazy s*** to happen:

Scenarios for LAL to finish ahead in standings get tougher:
    If: LAL 2-0 They Need: GSW 2-1; SAC 1-2; PHX 1-2; NOP 0-3;

    LAL 1-1 GSW 1-2; SAC 0-3; PHX 0-3

*LAL own tiebreaker over PHX, lead NOP 2-1 (April 14 H2H to decide) **DAL + SAC and GSW own tiebreaker over LAL

problem with GSW is that the only game they COULD lose is against the Pelicans...which we need to lose all their games in order to still have a shot.

now we need SAC to win against NOP, and then lose to PHX and POR at home (not happening).

Yeah, season looks done to me. Probably going to be 10th seed and have to win in GS.

We will unlikely finish 10th if we go 2-0 ,

If NOP wins at SAC , SAC goes to 35 losses and SAC would need to beat the Suns to no finish with 36 losses .. In that case Suns would need to both win at Clippers and Wolves to stay at 34 losses .

If NOP loses at SAC , they need to beat GSW to stay at 33 loses before they play us .. in that case GSW would have 36 losses.

There's a scenario where a 5-way tie happens between Lakers, Suns, Pels, Kings and Warriors at 47-35, it would involve the Lakers going 2-0, GS going 3-0, Suns going 1-2, Pels going 0-3, and Kings going 2-1.

I'm curious on what seed we would be in that scenario? Anybody know? I know we would own the tiebreaker over the Suns and Pels but not the Warriors and Kings...I assume we would probably end up in the play-in under this scenario as the...8th seed?

    My prediction would be this:

    6. Kings
    7. Warriors
    8. Lakers
    9. Suns
    10. Pels

lol, i tried to work some things out and failed. i think there's a high probability of gs and sac winning out. which makes our game with NO sort of huge for both teams. and it's at NO.

lol, still somehow too many moving parts with only 3 games left. will minny be trying to win the last one with phx is the big question for me. and we can't know that until maybe that day?

I think if GS and SAC both go 3-0, that would make NOP 0-3 (if they lose to us), and PHX potentially goes 0-3 as well...

That would put SAC at 48-34, GS at 47-35, NOP at 47-35, and PHX at 46-36, and if we win out, we are at 47-35 and we own the tiebreaker over NOP...

That would put the following in play:

    6. SAC
    7. GS
    8. LAL
    9. NOP
    10. PHX

I guess that scenario isn't too bad either...we would have to beat GS on the road, which we've done before when we have our full team, and even if we lose, we'd face either NOP or PHX (hopefully NOP) at home for the 8th seed and we have two chances.

Actually, even if PHX went 1-2 (with their only win coming against either LAC or MIN), they would still end up tied with us and NOP in a 3-way tie and we'd own the tiebreaker over both PHX and NOP and the same result would happen except PHX would be 9th and NOP would be 10th.

I can't figure it out. Just need the last two games and let the chips fall where they are; although, Ireland said he was questioning whether or not AD could play in the last two games.

Leads me to believe this is worse than reported

Bingo. Anyone mocking AD calling it an eye booboo...it's a concussion. If you get clocked in the head, and a couple days later you're dealing with headache and nausea, you have a concussion. Now maybe he passed enough of the testing to avoid entering the protocol, but I have a hard time buying any diagnosis that doesn't include a mild concussion.

    Just f***ing great .
George (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Suns
George will take a seat for the second half of a back-to-back set after leading the Clippers to a win over the Suns on Tuesday. Kawhi Leonard (knee) and James Harden (foot) also remain out, while Russell Westbrook (hand) and Ivica Zubac (ankle) are questionable.

Russ hurt the hand again launching all those bricks? Body’s not built for that kind of motion with heavy weight …. see “shot putters”.

They tried to be cute, thinking the could drop the game against Minnie and they would beat warriors.

AD getting injured or whatever put the spanner in the works

LeBron shouldn't have taken that game off. Win that game and the warriors loss has less impact.

Bunch of wankers leading this team
