I hope you're right. I like the way we're playing despite the loss yesterday. Hopefully finish this trip up 5-1 and go from there.
Finish 8-1 and I think we'll get the 7th seed , Monk may be out and given their schedule , Kings may lose 4 more games 7-2 may get us the 8th seed , it's not impossible Suns will lose 4 more
Hard to keep winning if we decide to integrate guys coming back from injuries after being out for months. I’m unable to trust that Ham can navigate that successfully.
That Cavs/Wolves back to back is a killer. Gotta get at least 1... Maybe guys won't be so tired since there is no travel
GSW schedule for next 5 games Apr 2 DAL Apr 4 @ HOU Apr 5 20:30 ET @ DAL Apr 7 20:30 ET UTA Apr 9 22:00 ET @ LAL Basically their season on the line
Does the Jazz have a chance tonight in SAC-town? I doubt it but ya never know. Tomorrow (Monday 4/1) we can legit hope PHO goes into NO and gets their a**** kicked. We are at 42-33 and fighting for 9th in the West; if we were in the East we'd be tied with IND in 6th place. Identical records. There's a reason some of us have always called it the Leastern Conference. EDIT: Jazz hanging with SAC in the 2nd, but I didn't know they're without Markkanen, Collins and Clarkson, so it doesn't look favorable to us. And I just shook the Magic 8-Ball and asked if Utah had a chance and here's what it said, "Are you outta yer frikkin mind, jagoff?" Man, these toys these days...
I desperately want Mavs/Clippers Part III in the first round. I think there's a chance the Mavs beat the breaks off of them.
Clippers @Knicks @C Bags @Nets @Thunder Pelicans Suns Blazers Thats the Kings remaining schedule. If we take care of business, we have a shot of passing them.
We have the tiebreaker over PHO but not with SAC, so we're essentially 3 games behind SAC, so our most likely path out of the 9-10 seed is by catching PHO.
Agreed. Phoenix's remaining schedule is @Pelicans, vs. Cavs, vs. Wolves, vs. Pelicans, vs. Clippers, @Clippers, @Kings and @ Wolves. I think we've got a real chance at it.
we have to be nearly perfect. phx is probably only going to lose 2 or 3 more games. kings could lose 4 or 5, in theory. in any case, if we lose more than 2 games, we're stuck in 9th place. even if we lose just 2, we're probably stuck in 9th. we've probably got at least three games that vegas won't have us favored in (home vs. minny and cleveland, at pelicans). we can hope to win the games we should, then snag one of minny/cle and hope the pels are locked into their spot for that last game. gs game will likely be huge, as it may determine home court for the 9/10 game.
We gotta beat everyone but the Twolves. I'm kind of worried about the Warriors. If they beat us the next game they got the tie breaker. They got the Mavs twice and the rockets away for the next 3 games. Hope they catch some L's
A week from now, I think a lot of folks are going to be surprised, at how the standings look myself. We just need to handle our business
The Pelicans are actually at real risk of sliding down these standings...their schedule is NOT pretty: vs Orlando - W vs San Antonio - W @PHX - L @POR - W @SAC - L @GS - L vs Lakers - L They would go 3-4 over the last 7 games... Puts them at 48-34 I think without Ingram this def makes It even tougher for them but of their remaining 7 games, they have literally two guaranteed wins against the Blazers and Spurs and after that, the rest of the games are a toss up imo although I think they'll beat Orlando at home and maybe they steal one of those road games against GS or SAC... We have also played well against them this year so I think that last game could hold a ton of significance if we continue to win and put pressure on the teams above us... The Suns winning tonight was actually good as I believe they still have the toughest remaining schedule and they won't win every game... vs CLE - W vs MIN - L vs NOP - W vs LAC - W @LAC - L @SAC - L @MIN - L PHX would go 3-4 in their last 7 games..might be wishful thinking but maybe it's not? This would be put them at 47-35, but I also can see them winning one game against the Wolves at home or stealing a game on the road against the Kings or Clippers. Dallas is the one team I think that is going to stay where they're at with the 5 seed and POSSIBLY catch the Clippers if they collapse down the stretch (although I think they're safe for now).. Kings schedule is also brutal: vs LAC - L @NYK - L @BOS - L @BKN - W @OKC - L vs NOP - W vs PHX - W vs POR - W 4-4 from SAC is maybe wishful thinking but with Huerter and Monk out, anything is possible. Puts them at 47-35 as well So we need to go 6-1 over our last 7 games to get to 48-34 and make sure we win the last game against NOP (maybe our lone loss comes against Cavs or Wolves at home?) in order to get to the 6th seed. Ideally I'd love it if we just won out...but that might be asking for too much.
Yeah I think we'll lose the Cavs game and win a close one against Sota . Bad performances , mainly due to fatigue , happen on a regular basis when a team comes back home from a road trip
I'm not sure Bron will play in all the remaining games so we might lose an unexpected one , at WASH by instance
We just have to handle our business. The other teams, are going to be knocking each other off along the way. All we need to do is win.
PHX has the toughest schedule left in the League. We have the 25th, so you are basically saying, that you still think PHX will finish better than us? We own the season series against the Suns too.
