there you go, anthony. reports, not hit pieces based on mostly non-reports.

this makes sense. i'm not sure it's the sole reason (or even the biggest reason) we didn't make moves at the deadline, but vando's really important to what we were trying to do.

don't get the agents/players going rogue with the press. the first conversation--from either side--should be between player and team/medical staff.

anyway, reading between the lines, though they claim they won't hold healthy guys out...they will and should do that, particularly in vando's case. you owe him 48 million over the next 4 years. don't grant hill his foot because lebron wants to go to the second round.

Yeah, feels like we're missing a puzzle piece here. I'd get with CW, Cam, or any of the others who could be FAs this summer. They might push their bodies to try to get that next deal and/or avoid an injury prone label. BUT the primary two players this deals with is Gabe and Vando. Both are locked up long term. Maybe...Gabe's camp wants him to prove his worth here in hopes to avoid being shipped out or replaced by Spencer? Knowing there's more off the court money to be had here than say...Chicago? Seems high stakes.

The out of the blue Shams update was an odd one for him to break earlier this year on Gabe's return. Cause we hadn't heard a peep from the local guys about ramping up or anything and then all of a sudden, Shams breaks that he's coming back that week. Shams typically doesn't get privy to that info for anyone outside of AD and Bron.

“Ingram will be re-evaluated in two weeks and additional updates will be appropriately provided.”

Not just Lakers …. even among the best of Pelicans

As I said in the standings thread before the news , NOP likely will drop to 7th or 8th and would be an easier 2nd play-in game opponent for us .

It's the Lakers reverse course - dudes they draft are good but don't count on them being healthy when you need them
Ingram, Randle, Ball all have at least at their peaks lived up to their potential but have had significant difficulty staying healthy (ironically more than AD - everyone punching bag in the media as being soft!)

Maybe we included some of our medical staff in the AD trade.

    Murray is injured too
The defending champions, who were amidst a dominant stretch, have deep concerns ahead of the playoffs. Notably, the team’s star guard has had a history of injury that had crippled the team’s chance at the ring in the past. Unfortunately, the Nuggets could have a similar trouble ahead of the 2024 playoffs.

During tonight’s game vs New York Knicks with less than a minute left for a comfortable win, Murray rolled his left ankle and was visibly in immense pain

think i said a while ago that i doubted murray makes it through another 4 rounds intact. bummer is i'd much rather denver win than boston, and denver's the only real threat to boston.

I'm just waiting for Boston's injuries to hit too. Injury prone players don't become less injury prone with age. They might be able to weather it because I do think the gap is sizeable between them and the rest of the East but I hope not.

Don't wanna alarm anyone unnecessarily, but if, after all these days off the Embiid-less 76ers come into Cypto and "wax our clocks" (<---a phrase my friend uses), the season is over. OVER.

    O-verrrrr.

    That is all.

The message brought to you by: NeedALife: for the sports fan who puts too much emotional energy into whether his or her team does well, regardless of what the stakes are. NeedALife: seeing the humorous side of your crappy team makes it all just a little easier...

And by, Chipotle: Chipotle: no cases of diarrhea for five days now!

And by: Healthy Meals Delivered: just check out the hot ripped chick in blue and white sports bra and leggings, sitting on her couch with a healthy meal, looking right at ya! What more do you need? Healthy Meals Delivered: getting you to eat by using sex for months now...

And by: Cannabis! It has whatever ya needs fer what ails ya. Lakers lose a crucial game? Forget about it! Literally: with cannabis! Instead, check out this cool art book I checked out from the library: this Caravaggio dude was a TRIP! Also: got any more of that Healthy Meals Delivered stuff? Jit's da bomb. But then again so is a plain piece of sourdough and a glass of tepid tap water right about now.

It's more of less the same, but Caravaggio is much more enjoyable.

Come on. Gotta be smarter. If you're a no name and there's a sudden wave of large bets on you, it's fishy.

Gotta play the long con. Start small, have them win and have it look like they're reinvesting their winnings on you riding a rando wave.

If Shaq had any desire to stay in shape, he would have owned this stat for All Time.
