Towns is missing the rest of the regular season. He's having surgery on his meniscus. Denver might end up with the 1 seed.
Like I thought, little to no help. Bulls are the only ones to do us a favor. After last night: We're 10th 0 back from GS at 9 1.5 out of 8th 3.5 out of 6th (bye bye to that dream) tonight's slate: Philly is already down 32, so that's not happening
Great win tonight. Actually my second favorite of the year just behind the one against the C Bags without Lebron and AD.
Coming up for Sat, March 9th, a Lakers day off: With the thrilling win over MIL, we're 9th now. Bags are in PHO and I think we have a chance to gain ground there. DAL @ DET: I won't hold my breath. Or anyone else's breath. SAS @ GSW: I think Wemby is still out: doesn't look promising. They're targeting his return for Monday's game against GSW in SA. I hope the Good Lakers show up against MIN. Standings watching when you're fighting to rise higher than 10th is, let's face it, kinda desperate.
Hahaha GSW lost to Spurs without Wenbanyana.Yes Curry is injured but..Pop is trying to lose every game BTW it's 1st win of the season when Wemba isn't playing
Yea I watched that game. Spurs w/o Wemby, in San Fran, were up by 21 at one point. GSW claws back to within 2-4, SAS pushes it back. Steph is great, but if this is how they respond to him being out, they are even worse than I thought. My feeling: SAS isn't as good as they looked (17 for 33 from 3?) and the GSW aren't as bad as they looked. Kerr still had Klay coming off the bench and he went 5 for 10 from 3 to be their leading scorer. We are now a full game ahead of GSW, but I've been staring at the schedule and MIN@ LAL for tomorrow: got a bad feeling about it. Gawd I hope I'm wrong. Watched the C-Bags @ PHO - maybe the two teams I despise the most. Lakers gained a little ground there, despite KD's 45. Pistons couldn't get it done at home vs. DAL: 142-124, and Luka with his 6th straight 30 point triple-double. MJ/Kobe/Wilt/Kareem/Magic/Bird...none of them have done that before. Just start giving him MVPs now. Dude's game is sick. He's 25.
Lakers could be fine for the 9th spot even with just one win against the Warriors as it would get you the tiebreaker when it comes to division record .
4 on today's docket: - Lakers vs Wolves - Bucks vs Clippers - Pelicans vs Hawks - Rockets vs Kings Hopefully AD is able to go against Minny. Bucks should be looking to bounce back against Doc's former team after losing to us. Maybe these go 2/4.
Wow - the Rockets pulled off a road W in Sacramento, and the Kings have the BUCKS next at home and then us again (god I really hate that we lost at home to them!!!) We have a few teams ahead of us losing games, and the Warriors LOSING at home to the SPURS that's a huuuuuge loss for them. we need to capitalize tonight...the Wolves are without KAT, and I believe ANT and Gobert are also hobbled and questionable as of now? I hope LeBron/AD play too...we HAVE to win this game man.
Rockets beat SAC! Rudy and Ant are listed as gametime decisions: does anyone really believe they won't play? AD, Bron and Cam (ankle) are listed as gametime, too. Who knows? Would be a big win for us if we can pull it off. Hell: ALL our games are "must-win" from here on out if we wanna avoid #9/#10.
