    Wemby's 6 games post All-Star Break:

    24ppg, 11.8rpg, 5.3apg, 2.7spg, 5bpg on 48.5% FG, 42.9% 3PT (5.8 attempts per), 83.8% FT... in 31:12 minutes.

The Spurs are so, so lucky

Already leading the league in year 1

The " Insiders " said that the only reason that we didn't get Kyrie in the summer, was that Rob refused to commit to a long term deal for Kyrie. Same story before he got traded to Dallas. Cuban was willing to give him that contract.

Hell yeah..we still would have had Rui, might not have made that dumb a** Beverley trade. If we had secured Irving over the summer, Rob could have made different roster decisions. We'll never know.

    That's a good fit.

Rozier has been AWFUL since getting there. So much so they had to go get Wright and now Mills to eat minutes.

There wasn't a player available to us to make a big difference. Sending picks and rotations guys just keeps us stuck in the mud. I truly feel the Nuggets are the only team that can confidently beat us in a best-of-7. Even with them we seem to more fall apart and not just get smoked.

I’d still like to know what happened on the court earlier to again turn Stewart into crazed HAS to fight Guy?

Vando - who had 10/7/2 with 3 steals before exiting in the FIRST half of that win in BOS, isn't wearing his boot anymore. And Gabe Vincent (who he?) is looking to get back on the court for us in around 2 weeks, according to reports I've seen.

As I see it, of course we'd like to crack the Top 6 in West and avoid play-in nervous time. But: unless something really bad happens and we fall down to #9 or #10 (which would be a colossal drag, everyone agrees): just let these guys heal fully. No need to rush it.

Gotta admit that I wanna see Vando - Top 3 Wing Defender in the Assn, easy - back ASAP. When he's healthy we threaten any team we face. Opponents find it a slog to crack 100 against us. And that's my preferred style of basketball: stifling defense, everyone moving their feet, handling switches, contesting shots, long wingspans cloggin' the passing lanes, boxing out, being a pest, blocking shots, etc. A Laker game in which we win 102-98 is my jam. Hell yea.

Would I prefer 130-89? Yep, every now and then that's a good one. But beggars can't be choosers, and we need - necesitamos, my dudes - Vando healthy. No rush!

I don't even want Gabe to come back TBH. Team just added Dinwiddie and should focus on integrating him into the system and getting familiar with the players.
Dinwiddie's size and athleticism is just a huge plus

Plus with Gabe, ham may even do something nuts and go with a 4 guard lineup and spend even more time this season wasting time.

Idk..Lebron is already a big guard IMO. Rob continues to load up on more guards, whenever he can. Even on the chip team, we had a bunch of guards. I think that's a FO thing.

Yeah let Gabe rehab. I would even give him some run on the G-League. Make sure he can be healthy for a run of games.
It won't help to disrupt the current rotation and chemistry building for a handful of games just for him to have a setback again.
It shouldn't hurt JHS development either. Gabe will mostly play off-ball in our team and they can become buddies with JHS absorbing some vet juice

Yeah, I don't see a role for him unless someone else goes down. He'll have the least amount of chemistry with anyone on the team. If he wants to run the scout squad practice to help us prep in the playoffs, that's cool. Otherwise, take it easy and enjoy the courtside view
