He cost us all 4 games though. He was a complete no show as the starting PG.

I'm sure that you won't be complaining about a 3 guard offense if we win either. Hell..Lebron is basically a guard on offense, regardless of the position listed.

I asked Irwin about our medical staff, questioning the depth of the staff and their abilities or lack thereof.

He confirmed my thought/fear that it is one of the thinner staffs in the league. Also that they don't like to spend on things that don't bring you direct results; medical stuff is more so indirect results and harder to measure that value in terms of visible results.

He is going to do a deep dive this summer in terms of all the various roles in the organization and how they stack up vs the rest of the league. Looking forward to seeing what he's able to unearth there.

So, our foolish decision makers don’t think those who help to keep the guys on the floor who do contribute to direct results aren’t important?
    Wow.
This is just stupid management. Beyond stupid. Ludicrous Mode!!!!

We're cheap if it doesn't put a**** in seats. We show that time and time again. I know Jeanie wants to honor her dad and continue the family business, but in today's landscape with billionaire owners everywhere you look, I don't think it's sustainable.

I really can't wait until the day she takes the $10b check and gets out. Everyone, including the Buss legacy, will be better for it.

I was thinking, maybe she'll look at the Cuban model as something that would get her attention. She's not the decision maker that Cuban is staying on to be, be more so the path of selling off the majority stake, taking a massive step back but still being involved in some capacity. For her, I don't know what that would entail but selling 73% for $7B+ would have to be enticing even after splitting it with all the siblings.

Yeah man, if LeBron didn’t choose us, we would be the same stinking Franchise that the Knicks were from the late 90s all the way through the 2000s, 2010s, and up until the last couple of seasons.

All I can say is, be careful what you wish for!! We could end out with an owner who is just an f'ing A-hole. There are a few out there. Dodgers and Rams have had some really bad owners at various times.

Which college they claimed in Winning Time did Jeanie graduate from?

    d******es.

And once again, lol at all those that argued our training/medical staff is fine.

I am guessing we don't even have a general physician on a payroll.

We should have pulled the trigger on that Kyrie Irving trade. We'd have another banner hanging up, and be defending Champions right now.

if he was a decent catch, putting him on a 2 way contract just means he's poachable. Feels pretty meaningless.

We know it wasn’t Hambone, because he’s not a guard.

That's an interesting hypothetical. I don't think the Lakers had enough to beat the Dallas offer.

If they did lakers already targeted Rui but with Kyri instead of Dlo/Vando would they have beaten Denver. I wouldn't have though so before the playoffs but after playoff you're probably right. the key players ended up being AD/Lebron/Reaves/Schroeder/Rui and Vando some games and Dlo a few games. Considering how close the GS series was and the limited value Dlo and Vando had in it, a healthy Kyrie would have been far more valuable
