Again - the Clips as currently constructed are not winning the chip, just no.

Even if they did, that's not a real threat to Lakers' legacy. It was intact the last time we went through rebuild and no big name wanted to join because the team was a steamy pile of s**t. As long as the team is run properly and the best players trust the management, I am pretty sure the guys who value "legacy" will continue to pick the Lakers over the fricking Clippers.

That being said, I really like the current C Bags squad, while the clips may have hathered the most despicable group of players in the league. Should those teams somehow meet in the finals, I won't root for anybody.

 

yeah, i actually like all the C Bags' top players now. if they weren't "the C Bags", i'd probably be rooting for them against most other teams.

wouldn't say anyone here "admires" boston. just saying that their roster is a lot more likeable than the clippers

even the clippers roster wasn't THAT bad until westbrick and harden showed up. i've always liked kawhi and PG's game. it was guys like f***ing reggie jackson who would suddenly turn into MJ who were annoying. but don't get me started on harden. it'll be a sad day when he's inducted into the HOF

like i said, if we get a clippers-C Bags final i'll be the biggest clips fan for a couple weeks. C Bags may not have any easy to hate guys, but the stench of turds like pierce, KG, ainge, and mchale won't ever go away

i think the debate in this thread is less about whether or not the clips are abhorrent (yes) and more about how seriously you take them as a threat.

i know fish does not. and i applaud the confidence. but i really think them winning a ring--especially with a roster full of homegrown big name players--is bad for business.

 

They need Khawai to win and I don't think his body can sustain all those playoff games.

Remember the second game we beat them this season he had to sit at an important part of the 4th quarter.

He will breakdown at some point.

Paul George will be Paul George in playoffs

Russ will be Russ and Harden will choke

And we will all laugh at the noisy neighbours once again
