Im sorry you had to experience that and I can understand it because a similar thing happened to me only after I was hit by a woman she called the police on me out of spite.
Yes I was arrested even though I was the only person with visible injuries and never touched or threatened her.The police knew this and all they told me was they could arrest her to but then my kids could be placed in foster homes.Im sure if I was an NBA player I would have been called a piece of crap to.

Yeah I guess maybe so …. if you had been guilty and had pleaded “No contest”.

“Nearly a year ago, Mychelle Johnson, the wife of Charlotte Hornets' star Miles Bridges, came forward with evidence of domestic violence by posting pictures of bruises and scratches she had suffered.”.

From an SI article where she was now trying to minimize what had happened a year earlier.

i'm fine with it as long as he doesn't piss and moan in the press about not having enough help. you make 50 million out of the 134 million dollar salary cap. you're the help.

You do understand what No contest means right? He never admitted guilt only accepted the punishment.

You do understand what the evidence showed no matter what deal he cut?

“Nearly a year ago, Mychelle Johnson, the wife of Charlotte Hornets' star Miles Bridges, came forward with evidence of domestic violence by posting pictures of bruises and scratches she had suffered.”.

FOLLOWED by the hurling of pool balls at her car with kid or kids inside more recently.

But I get it … probably that never happened and was “fake news” because it got dismissed.

no, kobe took sub-max (though still a lot of money). doing what kobe did would be something like 2 years 80 million right now instead of the 2/100+ he's probably going to sign (with another player option).

again, i'm fine paying him and maintaining good relations. but it's a two-way street man. you've got to be a brand ambassador for that kind of cash, and the hourglass tweets are b*******. if i were jeanie, this is the conversation i'd have with him: we need each other, but understand that you need me, too. if you hop to another team, it's not a great look. and you better win, else you get the mj wizards stank. quit grandstanding about our business in the media.

imagine if the lakers twitter account posted lebron not boxing out, for example. bush league. that's the turnabout version of the hourglass crap.

I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I would have tested their resolve by asking all their future first-rounders starting in 2025. Yes, you can have Lebron + Curry and have another real shot at another title for another 2 years or so, but it will cost you the franchise's future.

next summer we'd use those picks to get Donovan Mitchell (which I believe is unattainable with our current assets) and be back in contention.

At this point, I hope the "plan" isn't, just adding another 1st rd pick for Murray.

I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just saying that we won't ever know the full story and to sit on the sidelines while passing judgement is not a position I need to take. The problem with this sh*t is that there are only a small handful of people who really know what happened with it and it ain't me. If the Lakers decide to pass on him because of it, then I am fine with that, but if they do their due diligence and decided to bring him in, I would likely be OK with it. Not meaning that he is a guy I particularly want but I am not ruling him out because of some crazy sh*t that went on between he and his SO.

“Isaiah” rings a bell. Is he the dude who went crazy trying to get to LeBron for like 8 straight minutes to fight?

Defending? I mean he got cracked good in the face with what almost looked like an intentional forearm or elbow on the replay. Sure he was mad but then he snapped and went berserk. I just thought he might do some damage if he could get to him. You said Bron could take care of himself. Has he ever been in a fight in the league … no idea?

Idk..I've never seen anyone, actually try to fight Lebron, besides this guy.

The thing I was saying, was that Stewart was a wannabe thug, and somebody should have popped him earlier...intentionally.

I still say that, when he had that straight path to Lebron at the end, his a** pulled up quickly, once he saw H-Town muscle, standing between him and James.

At least he didn't get arrested tonight though.

That’s what I’m wondering … if he can actually fight if it came to it. I’m guessing yes. Especially with his size and if pissed enough that blows were actually being thrown. All highly unlikely of course.
