Washington is likely to trade Tyus Jones before the deadline.

The Wizards still want a first-round pick for Jones. According to two sources, Minnesota offered four second-round picks for the point guard, but Washington did not agree

 

If it’s between Ham and LeBron, do we honestly think Jeanie is going to choose the former? LeBron is the cash cow- she will never decide between someone or something that will reduce her revenue stream.
LeBron isn’t leaving. His family is rooted in Los Angeles now. However, if he does, I’ll be fine with it. He’s always been a mercenary. I’m also cool with him walking to the team that drafts his son because as a Father, I think that’s a very special opportunity.

That's why nobody ever seriously pursued a trade for him, including us. I wonder if the Bulls will go all, fire sale mode now, grabbing as many picks, as they can in the process.

Did anyone have a clue about the Westbrook acquisition trade or his trade out or the Rui move?

Doesn't seem Pelinka's style to really release much info before a deal is made. I'm hoping that means Brodgon is still a possible move based on that guess as we really haven't been linked with him at all. You can keep Dlo and even Rui to get him.

 

The only tell on the Russ move was that he and his wife both started following Bron and AD on IG maybe a couple weeks before the deal.

 

I have nothing to prove this, but really think we’ll get CP3 in a buyout before the season is done.

@JSM I don't know how reliable Vinay is, but he had a pod late last night with Raj. He talked about FA and the Lakers thinking through backed communication that he was getting from his "sources".

Says Lakers are targeting Murray heavily (no surprise), they are targeting Finney-Smith doesn't "believe" they're interested in Royce O'Neal, and says "he thinks" Lakers already have a third team for Atlanta but they're just holding out to see if a better deal comes along.

Says that LBJ and FO are "aligned" and work together on the roster. Doesn't seem him leaving this summer, etc.

The Trade deadline is coming up next week. As usual, I expect some deals to go down, that aren't even being talked about right now. Rob plays it close to the vest with trades, so it wouldn't be shocking, if we did make a trade, but it didn't involve Murray at all.

Sidebar..it's hard to believe that the Warriors won't be actively, trying to move some folks. We'll see in a few days.
