8 of the 11 are likely to be in the lottery this year

they'll need a s&t, as they're going to be over the cap unless they let anunoby walk. they also have to watch future finances, as brunson has a player option year after next, which will be on the heels of what i'm guessing is a substantial raise for anunoby.

i feel like they really need to move fournier with some picks to get a player they see as part of a core. are there any good wings in that salary range on the market? if they don't use his contract at the deadline, they pretty much lose it, as i think the league has closed the loophole wherein someone could turn fournier into instant cash this summer.

anyway, their assets do put a damper on our s&t possibilities going forward.

wonder how dolan will screw it up.

    Duncan Robinson, Bogi, De'Andre Hunter

Or they could go the big route since they're shorthanded with Vuc or Poeltl.

All are within a couple million of Fournier's contract.

Hawks, Raptors, Bulls all have reasons to shed salary. Heat are in a tailspin right now, so no clue what's the deal there.

    Murray is magically healed. Naturally.

    DLO vs Murray.

Winner gets a seat on the plane back to LA.

Just to show the powers of playing the Lakers...

It's just f***ing insane how every player gets healthy when they see the Lakers on the schedule.
You might as well put that WWE wheelchair meme on copy and paste the way this goes

one guy really showed up, and the other didn't

Makes you be more open to such a move. This was a bright lights moment when DLO's team needed him to step up. He couldn't do it.

I mean, the Hawks won't accept it.. We tried..

I'd definitely ship Dlo and other assets out for Murray. You see his limitations when he's not on fire from three.

How about Ham, Prince, Hayes an unprotected first for Monty and Monte Morris?

Ham gets to go home and learn how to coach. Gets to take his son with him. We get a real coach who's wasting his time with a bottom feeder and get a backup PG too.

Murray looked awesome. His athleticism just sticks out. He would be a great fit with the Lakers as he can DLo stuff but against tougher defense

I don’t see Murray retain his good shooting here lol so I am really not that excited for a trade with him

Murray has more offensive tools to score. He was 0/4 from 3 pts tonight and still torched us. DLo usually doesn't do much if his shot is not falling like tonight.

And a lot has been made about the gap in their passing ability. DM is fine, he looked even better when he was manning that second unit without Trae in his way. Lobs, pushing the break, drive and dish, finding corner shooters, finding the trail man. He's not flashy like DLO, but the media has been making it out like he's Mark Madsen out there running the point.

The mid-range game is really smooth. Has a good flip shot. Can collapse the defense. And that's just on offense. He actually plays the other side of the floor. He's better than the numbers. He would walk in to being the best POA defender we've had since playoff Rondo. The system shock to seeing that compared to f***ing Prince on Steph would melt minds.

I don't think the trade is happening at this point. And Scotto was on Irwin's pod today and Scotto painted a very depressing trade deadline for us. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised, though.

I’m imagining a scenario where once Murray gets his hands on the Lakers jersey… he shoves DLo to the floor and rushes out to try to make it to the Lakers team plane first :D

I'd like to get excited about potential upgrades, but there is no move that can save the team from Ham.

we have the C Bags and knicks on the road next, so 4-game losing streak. then @charlotte (honestly, who knows at this point), then home vs. denver (loss) in our last game before the trade deadline.

we'll be dealing from a position of extreme weakness, in other words. we should probably just sit this one out so we don't pull a zubac or worse-a westbrook.

Despite his game last night, DLO has played well all of January. I still don't trade him unless there is a clear upgrade.

I'm also still good with a smaller move for some of the guys we've all talked about (Brogdon, etc).

Basically, I'm fine with a move that actually helps the roster now and later on.
