Could kind of invigorate the Lakers and keep the games interesting if he gets run. A lot of fans may have checked out already until Jan15.

Kind of a Chandler Parsons/Rodney Hood type.

Always good to see an “older kid” get a shot

All kidding aside, I'm not even sure if that's good or bad in this situation.

Okay, great. A dude who might be able to help.
The problem is: Is Kurt going to force Hamster to play him because so far, one of our biggest weaknesses has been not having a decent backup big to stop anyone from making a layup or dunk.
We have Castleton, who is already a much better defender than both Wood and Hayes combined because he moves his feet well and has good instincts, but of course, our foolish coach hasn’t even thought of developing him slowly with spot minutes here and there.

Yup and yup. And who wants to bet “against” us losing Castleton same gawddam way we did Huff? Another legit 3rd string Big that could help more than Wood or Hayes in certain situations with AD on the bench or with him on the floor, IF the coach wasn’t so fixated on one and only one type of offense.

I don’t know anything about the kid. My only request is to not get a bone bruise the first game and then go off to die somewhere.

And you made these astute observations when exactly? What games are you referring to ,that demonstrated to you, these supposed facts?

Lol..Or maybe Ham has no interest in helping AD out with what he’s asked for in a legit center because of exactly what I said …. his switch to the 5 out offense? Wood gets minutes in situations. So does Hayes. There’s things that Castleton clearly looks capable of doing now that those two cannot. In situations.

Meaning what? You think LeBron requested a 5 out offense, where a legit center can't play unless he can shoot from out there? When we won a chip with a couple bigs spelling AD some of the work who couldn't shoot from out there. And went to the conference finals last season with a 4 out offense? OBVIOUSLY not saying Colin should start and push Bron down to SF again. Just saying I think it's beyond stupid and Ham is pig headed to NOT at least treat Colin as a third string center now and give him some burn in SITUATIONS he can handle, that Wood and Hayes can't because they don't have legit size and weight of legit centers. He's not a kid. He's 25 with a mature body that's looks like it can handle situations. He's a smart player as well.

Preaching to the choir about the bigs man. I didn't like Rob dumping Dwight and Javale, for Gasol and Trez. Thought Frank should have used Dwight and DeAndre more, AND I said that Wood and Hayes, are really just two more power forwards.

I guess Kurt's influence is waning or something, because guards, and "Wings" are the new it thing these days.

Curiously Lebron and AD have both thrived, with this new offense. James has been spotty with the shot lately, but AD has looked great.

I don't care what Rob said, his roster moves looks to be geared towards AD at 5, most of the time to me. I disagree with that decision.

Surround Lebron with shooters!!!! That's supposedly the way to go.

Something pretty suspicious about this signing, kinda like when the Eagle was let go and they signed another rookie free agent as replacement to assuage the fans :ADGlance:
