Was doing errands much of the day then at the gym, I saw the numbers in the game 63-7 off a hanging TV. I thought to myself that has to be some kind of stats. Shocked that was the score heading into the 4th quarter. Shocked!

Ill have more to say later (maybe some pics and vids if I can figure out how to share here) but everything can be summed up in one recap.

After the Raiders stopped SD on their first drive this Charger fan dad (had a teen son with him) yells "31st in defense" all smug. AND............ cut td one, fumble, td two, fumble and td three..... Dude sat with his arms crossed and pissed most of the game. That was a lot of SD fans after the first few minutes of the game.

    The sh** was live!

I mean, this was a long time coming. That 2021 playoff miscue was the start of the end.

Mayer, Tucker had their big moments. Mayer is proving to be a reliable target in the middle while Tucker can separate himself from DB's with some ease. Even White got into the act though he does not have Jacobs' ability to make defenders miss yet. Our vets are reliable like Meyers and Adams as has Renfrow if thrown to.

On defense, we have been very good to dominant. Crosby now has some help. Koonce has been really good. Wilson is coming along albeit slowly. Spillane has been so solid. So is Diablo. Our secondary is still a work in progress being that Robertson is our best player which is saying a lot. I think Jones will have an impact but just has to keep his emotions in check.

    Updates on AOC.

    Part 1: PFF DATA
    Jimmy G
    168 attempts
    1205 yards
    7 TD
    9 INT
    65.6 PFF

    Aidan O'Connell
    244 attempts
    1613 yards
    8 TD
    7 INT
    62.4 PFF
-AOC is ahead of the turnover game, something that couldn't be said for JG.

    Part 2: PlayerProfiler Data
    DEEP BALLS
    AOC 24 (on 244)
    JG 11 (on 147)
-AOC is averaging slightly more downfield throws than JG. AOC would throw 49.2 per 500 throws at his current rate. JG would throw 37.4. AOC has a nice affinity with his fellow rookie Tre Turner.

    RED ZONE
    AOC 32 attempts, 78.1% completions
    JG 21, 57.1%
-Would it surprise you to hear that AoC leads the NFL in red zone completion percentage? Per Playerprofiler, he does.

    MONEY THROWS
    AOC 3
    JG 2
-I don't know what a money throw is, but the QBs are now roughly on par.

    DANGER PLAYS
    AOC 14
    JG 9
-AOC hasn't registered a danger play in a couple of games, I believe. Jimmy G has a DP per 18.7 attempts. AoC is at one per 17.4. Pretty close.

    INTERCEPTABLE PASSES
    AOC 10
    JG 8
-Same story as above. JG has one per 21 attempts. AOC has one per 24.4.

    3. QBR
    JG 34.9
    AOC 35.5
-Neither is good, but AOC has outperformed Garoppolo on this stat now.

    Thoughts
O'Connell has three exceptionally good games this season. He also has a few dreadful games. No reason to play Garoppolo at this point, but AOC has a lot of work to do. If he finishes very strong, he might allow the Raiders to think about things other than jockeying for the best available QB in the upcoming draft.

Silvera is back on the practice squad, making 1/3 his regularly scheduled salary.

man I spent the first part of this week sick and finally ready to quick recap the game at Allegiant.[IMG][IMG]

First, Garbage pail nachos from Guy's is the damn bomb. The atmosphere in the beginning was excited but nervous for the raider fans. Not nearly the super loud reverberation of "RAAAAIDERS" throughout the stadium. In fact the SD team had a pretty good representation at the stadium. Some even going so far to yell Chargers (like our Raiders yell) but those fell flat as there team. It was easy to understated their excitement as we just put up a goose egg at home 4 days prior.

    [IMG][IMG]

Once the game started the SD fans were hype and the Raider fans were cautious. There was a huge eruption when we made our first stop. A SD (no I won't call them LA) fan yelled "31st in defense" referring to the Raiders D. That was a garbage take but we just lost 3 to zip so it was understandable they were cocky..........

TD 1, fumble, Td 2, fumble, TD 3!

In what felt like seconds this stadium went from nervous energy for the Nation to explosive energy. "RAAAAAAIIIIIDDDDDEEEERRRRS" echoed throughout the stadium loudly and proudly. So many chants and people getting hyped it was funny. Eventually the only responses SD fans had was "neither of us are making the playoffs" as their rebuttal to all the sh*t they were getting. It was hilarious.

I was on the end of the field where Tucker got his TD's, Jakobi got his, We got that "Thick6" TD. Man, I have been to about 6 games at Allegiant and this was the loudest and more true Raider like atmosphere I ever saw. By half time all the talk was about dropping a 70 piece. I actually got into a discussion with a female Bears fan who was rocking the Raiders for her husband about us dropping more than 70. She didn't think we were but I was sure of it when we came out. But after seeing AP put in the 3rd string guys in a lot of places it was clear we weren't going for any records.

    That being said.....

That Jack Jones pick 6 happened so fast, and on the other end of the field, that I didn't truly see the play until I got home the next day. The crowd just went crazy at the 63 piece we dropped. This game had everything. Imma wrap up but I wanted to drop one last little tidbit that I really liked and it was this moment [IMG]

At this point we had given up 14 points. A blown play gave up one and just before this moment a lazy play gave them (SD) a first down. AP called a timeout, came on the field and laid into the defenses a** for not playing right. We were up by nearly 50 points but he was still expecting them to do their jobs.

To put it short (lol, this is pretty long), this was the best game I've seen by the Raiders at any stadium I've watched them play.

I almost didn't accept my brothers invite to fly down. I am glad I did. Now we have to follow it up against KC!

    Thanks Gcc.

it really was an epic game. I think AOC is the real deal and can be a our future QB but I think he needs to back up last game with a stellar performance tomorrow. Im optimistically yet cautiously excited about going into Arrowhead and getting a W. I can't say when I felt truly positive about that prospect last.

Raider fans will be unfrickingbearable if we win......I'm here for it.

I believe we're eliminated with a loss today, so it's time to keep the season alive and send a message to the AFC West and KC in particular.

    No Mayer, unfortunately. No Horsted.

Everyone else is questionable or better. Andre James is back.

Some nice plays by Snead shut down the Raiders' drive, but they come away with 3.

Raiders were badly outcoached on that TD drive from KC.

Wow. Chiefs' huge mistake leads to a Raiders TD. Then a botched snap/hold on the Raiders.
