At this point, we need to find enough bodies to field a 12-man roster. It's gone from going after the biggest names, to needing bodies to have a team. I have no clue who we can sign, who we want to sign, it's going to be another last minute scramble for the scraps left over.
There goes Tobias Harris... A young prospect that would've fit in with our team. Well, here we go with more 1 year rentals...
Does it really matter who we get at this point? The game changers are gone. Down to low tier 2 and tier 3 players.
Roy Hibbert is actually a talented defensive player. He would be great compliment to Julius. He's only 28 years old still in his prime. He had a bad year last year bc of his teammates and coaching using him as a scapegoat for a bad season. I think a new environment like the Lakers would do him wonders. I'd be happy to get him. I would also try to go after jeff green I heard the team is trying to trade him.
Hello Lakers fans , my name is Roy , I'm 7'2 and I finish at the rim at a 51% rate ... growing up my idol was Derek Fisher , I hope y'all like me
Randle in college and high school was known for being an aggressive offensive rebounder, I think they would work well together.
Why are you sad about Harris? He was bound to be signed by Orlando and the Lakers would have no business tying their money up in an offer sheet. That is poor management if they did that.
I don't why but I have a deep feeling in my gut that mitch has a trade up his sleeve, to be this quiet is not necessarily bad, usually the unexpected happens, our fo was never good at grabbing FA's we've always been known for great lopsided trades, so good that we got a trade vetoed lol. I still have hope, worst case scenario is we develop Upshaw into the next defensive beast of a center, he reminds me a lot of a taller Bismak Biyombo.
I'd test morey. he loves to have flexibility, and he hates to overspend on role players. they have ariza and brewer at 8 per; it's hard to justify mcdaniels at 4-5 on top of that.
