Damn, tough break for the Knicks. He's been great on the offensive boards for them.

I'm warming up on the idea of Lavine if we don't have to give the Bulls anything else other than D'Lo and Rui. Both of them have been non-factors for us as of late, and we're still winning.

Either Lavine or another guy who can get his own shot if our two stars + Austin have an off-night. The question is who else would be available?

i'd argue dlo has been really useful so far this season. rui hasn't done much, but he's been in and out with weird injuries. and he's still young and has room to grow. i don't think i take lavine's contract for those two unless the bulls sweeten the deal somehow.

Lavine is almost as injury prone (might be more, haven't looked recently) as AD. We can't have two of three main contributors being that big of an injury risk (with the 3rd being in his late 30s). The odds of both being fit for an entire playoff run are slim to none.

Many teams contacted Chicago with a desire to trade guard Alex Caruso , but the Bulls refused all of them and stopped negotiations.

The Athletic insider Shams Charania reports this.

However, Caruso is expected to become available closer to the February 8 deadline.

Caruso is averaging 9.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals while shooting 53.6% from the field and 46.4% from beyond the arc.
Damn ,he's now mini- splash brother or what

If there’s any way to get AC back I’d do it. Just not sure what that would entail.

I'm imagining a "need one stop" in the playoffs defensive lineup of AD / LeBron / Vando / Cam / Caruso.

DLO's ability to take and make pull-up threes out of the P&R is something this team needs. Reaves is trying to add that to his game but isn't great at it yet. Vincent likes to take that shot from the midrange, rather than from three.

With our current roster I'm pretty fine with the DLO experience. When he's on, he adds a valuable dimension to the offense. A month ago when Reaves was still struggling and we had multiple rotation guys out DLO helped us tread water. Now that we have guys back, if he starts trending downward in a game/series we can go to Reaves or Vincent at PG lineups with Reddish, Christie or even Prince playing at the two and some combination of our other wings/bigs. DLO being bad theoretically won't tank us, like it did against the Nuggets. Unless some clear no-brainer trade is out there (and I can't think of one, its not LaVine), I'm fine with keeping DLO and riding the rollercoaster because we're better able to survive the lows and can still really benefit from the highs.

lame, but i'm assuming the league somehow forced them to do it considering they came out earlier and said they weren't going to hang one

time for the clippers to make a new selfie banner!

Yeah, I bet the League would have said “no” if we asked to hang it in the practice facility.

Whatever! It’s a good a banner, I am not ashamed of winning it! It’s good bragging rights and we were the first team to do it . Put it up there next to the other 17, Doesn’t bother me a bit .

If we won the chip, I'd draft Bronny. I'd be happy to package him and Lebron, back to Cleveland, for Mobley or Mitchell too.
