JHS and Max Lewis plus the 2nds to make it match? That’s some nice young talent and draft capital to entice them. This is not my thing!

    :LLLLLebronlaughing:

But AC and Drummond solves some immediate pressing and strategic needs. And we’d still have more moves and now spaces on the roster for them toward the deadline market.

We could go blockbuster route and snag Demarr too. That would take D'Angelo and Gabe.

D'Angelo, Gabe, Max, Maxwell, Jalen,Taurean, and Jackson. That's a lot of talent and some solid young prospects.

You will be giving me 3 guys, in the 30 year old range back. They will have to eat Gabe's contract, and settle for 1 draft pick.

I'm trying to keep Austin and Rui.The Bulls could still move Lavine for more players and picks.

No. :LLLLLebronlaughing: I thought we were keeping Max. We have plenty of talent, don’t need DeMarr back too. And none of this “trying” to keep Austin. Don’t go nuts here. Just Eagle and and your boy Drumm. ;)

Man I'd consider Derozan for D'Angelo and Gabe to be a fair trade.

We'd have to work around with some numbers to get Caruso and Drummond.

Of course we could keep it simple, Austin for Caruso and Drum, plus a protected pick coming back from them.

Lol.I love Austin, but he's not untouchable. The pick coming back for him is a must tho.

I'd take a coaching change over any trade at this point.

this roster is more than good enough to be Top4 in the West and it's underperforming at the moment.

Not with these injuries, no way.

Replacing Ham doesn't magically give us anything on the wing when all of that depth is sidelined with injuries.

Ham isn't doing a great job, but I don't think he's doing a bad one either. Think 5 out is a mistake with this roster, but we have a winning record and would look a lot better if a Cam shot fell and a Kyrie shot didn't. Still want to see what the team does with everyone but Vincent back.

the slow starts n lacking of wins vs good team should be on ham irregardless of injuries...the team slow starts was happening when we didn't have injuries as well

Why would Chicago take our trash for Caruso? Unless you’re including a first round draft pick, which you didn’t say. I don’t want Drummond back at all unless he’s smarten up and knows his place in the pecking order.

I’ll be very interested in what LaVine nets the Bulls. I think they value him a lot more than other NBA executives do.

agree. we've had lebron and AD playing big chunks of every first quarter, and we're getting smashed by almost everyone to start games. to me, that's on the coach. he adjusted by moving reaves to the bench, and i think that has helped the starts a bit (getting another defender on the floor).

overall, though, i agree with LT that it's hard to say much because we've basically played every single game missing half of our top 8. that's pretty wild. it's gone under the radar because it hasn't been lebron or AD (yet).

i think the bulls should have basically zero interest in moving caruso unless THEY'RE getting a star back. same way i feel with reaves--role players who are worth more than their contracts are worth more than 1st round picks.

i think lavine ends up being moved for about what we paid for westbrook, maybe less. two role players and a late first is the max they'll get back, imo.

if chicago can just get off lavine's money and maybe get some relief from the league for lonzo's player option next year, they essentially have a clean slate to work with. i don't think they're as generally desperate as the press wants them to be, but i don't think lavine has much value. someone will bite, though. for sure.

If the Bulls think Alex is worth two 1st rd picks, they are out of their minds. We have this conversation every season, about how much it would take to move this guy or that guy, and it always seems to end up being for a lot less than expected. Gobert being an outlier.

The Drummond thing....the only place that I saw anything about Drummond, being some kind of locker room issue, was on this board. That was never talked about anywhere else, and was actually debunked by Vogel and the players, when they talked about how the dude came in and was great in the locker room, and did whatever we asked of him. I'd take him back over Hayes for sure.

I think we'd offer a top 15 protected pick for H--Town Eagle, but I'd seriously think about an unprotected 1st rd pick, Caruso and Drummond for Austin. I don't know if he's as highly valued,by other NBA GM as we value him either.

I'd rather trade anyone available and keep Austin and Rui..but it depends on the deal involved.

Man Alex is 30 years old and avg 24 min a game. Hell of a defensive player, but a Star back? I don't know bro. Austin is kind of a " star" in that scenario.

    Latest from Shams

Makes sense. We need to know what we have before getting in any mix for trades, then there's the factor of the when guys can be moved.

If Bulls are better without Lavine around and it looked that way against the Bucks, he's out a week so they'll get a sample size, they might have to give up a pick for someone to take him. Makes me think it's more likely they have to attach AC to flip that and extract at least a pick out of another team.
