Well. I hope the polish on his game and skills he brings are better than his interview skills. Just being petty here but clearly he's real rough with that part of it. Wish he would have been more specific when they asked him at different times about what was going on with the heart that caused the flags. But damn, talk about a chance right out of the gate to impress, if he is all that, he's got Towns the first night and Okafor the 2nd night. Supposedly he does pretty good staying out of foul trouble. Going to need that ability while still being reasonably effective against the better centers in the league. Do it Robert. You need it. The Lakers need it.

Hmm...I actually tink there's some nice FA's left....Green, Koufos and Sweet Lou would be a great off-season IMO...really nice supporting pieces...they wont be stars but they'll be important pieces later on when we actually get star players.

It's been unusually quiet for Lakers thats for sure....either they're the dumbest team on the face of this planet and they're missing out on other potential FA's or they're the smartest team alive and they're waiting for LMA to sign and then they're getting someone like DeMar Derozan or somethingn for Randle and signing Koufos...

Do we even have anything to trade other than the rookies?

Or can we trade cap space? Like a trade exception?

Or Do we just absorb the salary idk how it works

We can absorb guys salary such as Roy Hibbert, Nene, or David Lee...I wouldn't mind the first 2, but would hate life if we got stupid David Lee. Hibbert kinda annoys me cuz he is just big and slow and seems unmotivated if he's not getting touches...Nene, he always gets injured..but hey, we could do MUCH MUCH worse...

This x1000 all day every day and twice on Sunday. If common folk can figure out, those "brains" in the FO should be able to without issue.

Wouldnt it be better to just sign koufos or bismack?

Those 3 guys arent difference makers

Hibbert maybe but he seems so unmotivated

Losing out on Harris was expected, liked him but Magic was gonna match anyways. Regardless, Lakers have been extremely quiet today, normally that would lead me to believe something big is going down but the way things are going I don't think so. We're constantly being told that its coming down between the Spurs and Suns, no mention of the Lakers and yet we aren't doing anything. All the while we are sitting here watching the Knicks put together a rather impressive team (all things considered).

Guys they need to use 90 % of cap. If they didn't have something at least planned they would sign someone random by now just to sign them.

Sorry...youre right...I wanna see this through...but getting LMA just makes me think that Randle's days are numbered. We can't have them both unless we plan on Randle being our Odom...good thing is this: we arent gettign LMA, so we are definitely keeping Randle, and I would love to just see this team grow. It sucks that we won't have a shot at Tobias Harris....but maybe we can fill out the roster with 3-4 guys now with 23M in cap space while keeping all of our young guys....i'm thinking Gerald Green, KJ McDaniels, Bismack Biyombo and Koufos? Maybe?

Guys do not want to carry a team to greatness. They want to step into a team that is already competing.

Agreed at this point its laughable

My worst fear is they trade some of our rookies for some borderline stars that wont make a difference just to say hey we got a "star" instead of giving them a chance to develop

If were gonna suck let the rookies develop
