i actually feel like it's kind of a big game. we're going to get their best shot, and we're definitely losing the second night of a back to back against okc (i won't even tune in there for fear of a philly repeat). we can salvage the road trip by just executing and hustling against a bottom feeder. but man, they are going to be chomping at the bit for a home win against the lakers after demonstrating that they're the worst team in the league (who loses to the wizards at home?!). lebron and AD better come out firing and setting a tone.
yeah, i imagine perimeter scorers salivate for days before playing us. at least it sounds like cam might be back.
I watched the Kings - Warriors 2nd half and it was indeed a B-ball parody .. a FT parade ( I'd say 1/3 of the fouls called weren't fouls) and 3pts chucked without purpose .. Accidental B-ball as Kobe once called it
If getting run out of the gym like we did against Philly doesn't motivate us then I'm not sure what will. I expect the Pistons to put up a fight but we should win.
^^^^ Injuries plus the fact our leaders ( Bron and AD ) aren't motivated much ( and/or old/inconsistent/injured) by the regular season ( at least most of it) could make it a close game . As of now , we're just an average and short handed team . As a fan , I was expecting a 55 ish wins and enjoyable regular season , it hasn't been the case so far
I expected 47 wins and that's just about where we're at. Enjoyment has come in waves, as has disappointment. I expected injuries and load management, but thought it would be from Bron and AD not everyone else.
yeah, i expected about 50, but with the losses coming when lebron or AD was out. we're barely over .500 with them healthy, so i'm taking the under now. i really thought we'd score more easily and be more fun to watch in that regard, but once again everyone forgot how to make open shots.
S***!! I was expecting to beat them and didn’t buy all the angst. Especially with reinforcements of perimiter defenders now available. Max with some games under his belt now, Cam obviously and even JHS against a bench matchup if needed. But Noooooooooooo!!!!!

Can someone please explain why the Lakers let Schroeder go? Not having him is killing this team - he was a great POA defender and allowed Reaves to be Reaves a playmaker and not a full time PG/defender. He had to know they were going to move DLO most likely so it couldn't have been just about the starting job was it?
dumbest decision of the summer to choose Gabe Vincent over him, especially when Denis carried us for a good few games in the regular season.
Just hate that we had an early big lead and then just got absolutely crushed from that point on. Also hate that we got them on the 2nd night of a b2b. Sick of all the damn injuries man this is one of the nights we really needed our guys so our starters don't get gassed.
Can’t wait for this team to get healthy. Win or lose, I’m tired of the excuses. We need to see what we’ve got before the trade deadline.
