why aren't they letting russ be russ? i thought they were the competent, supportive organization that didn't "scapegoat" hofers!
I detect a note of sarcasm there. You don’t think it’s possible Russ has had an epiphany of self awareness and realizes the fewer minutes he plays the better for the team it is?
SMH..Still focusing on Westbrook, the guy on a minimum salary..meanwhile the Flippers are starting to show signs of life. I just don't understand, why the hyena still gets so much respect around here. It's all Westbrook or Harden..Yada yada...
no one doubted that the clips would start winning again. it's just hilarious to watch westbrick basically finding himself in the same situation he was in with the lakers after all the "clippers rescued russ from purgatory!" BS
See..I truly hope that plays out by the playoffs, maybe for the Chipmunk, but I'm not counting on the Hyena, Jackal and Fat boy to disappear.
Sure. But don’t act like you don’t understand the glee here after all that we endured with him for most of 2 seasons and then the media story it was all the Lakers’ fault who did him wrong …. unlike the Clippers who brought Russ in to be Russ.
I can understand it, if you truly feel like it was his fault. Just speaking for myself here tho... I was always more concerned, about AD and Lebron, missing all these games. But I thought the previous team sucked as well, because of that. This current team would be terrible too, under similar circumstances. F the media, they hate the Lakers anyway.
NO. You’re still doing it. Our problem was with him as a player here. Not winning without LeBron and AD being available enough games everyone always understood. It didn’t excuse his sorry play. He got PLENTY of chances “to be Russ” from both Vogel and Ham. Russ being Russ at this stage of his career sucks more often than contributes to winning basketball. Now there’s a 3rd coach in Lue who before Fat Beard even got here realized he wasn’t to be trusted in crunch time and cut his 4th quarter minutes often.
Idk LT...You say he's not contributing to winning basketball, but the only time his team has missed the playoffs recently was here. We can't seem to be anything but mediocre, without both Lebron and AD playing, under two different head coaches. It's still up in the air on that subject to me. I thought the Flippers played better before this trade too. However Fatboy is still a higher end player, when he's in shape and locked in. I think we'll see them in the playoffs at some point. You could be right, and I hope I'm wrong, but we'll see.
for the clippers to get back to being good, they were going to have to bench russ. like everyone would have to bench russ to be good. what everyone's annoyed about is the narrative about the lakers being the problem with russ when it's clearly russ.
