Win and keep it moving! The Rockets aren't scrubs, unfortunately. We have a back to back coming up Tuesday and Wednesday. Utah and Dallas. 3-0 here we go!
LeBron The team’s game plan to consistently feed AD and him converting AR’s clutch three Our depth not showing Continuing to Jack threes when we couldn’t hit them Stalled out offense down the stretch Shout out to Houston’s front office. They have pivoted quite well this past summer.
Anyone with sight, let alone a basic knowledge of color theory, should be bothered by most of these courts.
The good in 1 point win at home vs. HOU: AD and Lebron AR's 31 foot 3 as virtual dagger. The Good: Bron givin' Dil the "too small" treatment. The bad: pug fugly 3 point shooting. Taurean and Rui 0-4 from deep; Wood 0-3; Cam and D-Lo 1-5. Supposedly, when you're feelin' it you shoot. And so a lot of our guys were deluded by their feelings. Damn. AR redeemed all that by hitting that deep 3. I said he was our Closer. Bad: T-Prince couldn't throw a pea in the ocean: 1-11 and missed his only FT. Get it outta yer system, Taurean. The bad: having to look at Dillon Brooks.
At this point my form is only slightly worse than this guy's. I've never torn my ACL after missing an uncontested shot though. So there's that. Hope Anthony was just clownin' and wasn't really injured. My advice to all: try to not age.
That was concerning. The George McCloud curse really struck hard at the crypt, or should I call it the tomb, where jump shooters go to die. At least we won.
The right Bron’s stellar play Reaves hitting that long 3. AD showed up Cam continues his steal streak The wrong Lack of 3 point shooting. It’s atrocious. Dlo going brain dead. Prince’s shooting woes. In my best Steve Ballmer voice…box outs, box outs, box outs.
Now I'm starting to think it's the stadium lights and the rim at Crypto. Stephen Curry would shoot 35% here.
Also interesting from Austin towards the end, I think, is him saying what's special is he's never seen LeBron in a bad mood. Always energy, he's the oldest player in the NBA but he acts like he's 20, always joking and having fun.
This shooting curse needs to be examined. What causes it? There is something wrong here and it has crossed coaching boundaries. If there is a lighting problem, or some kind of depth perception problem, we need to know. If it is a coaching problem, maybe all our defense first coaches are not helping our guys shoot, maybe they don't run enough shooting drills for them????? I have no frigging idea what the cause of this is, but it NEEDS to be understood.
