Hard disagree. The Dreamcast was a phenomenal system. Way ahead of its time. Never got the love it deserved.

i think the clippers (and west) have been consistently more interested in the arms race with us than they have been in team building. i feel like several trades they've made have been to ensure we couldn't get targets instead of thinking about whether guys made sense for them, etc.

since ballmer took over, they've built their teams from top to bottom specifically to beat the lakers

even the westbrook signing was definitely for the narrative as much as anything else.

i mean, their preference is to play zubac and plumlee, two guys dantoni never would have put on the floor. if anything, their roster construction seems a lot more like the mj/pippen bulls, but they haven't been able to find good approximations of the bj armstrong/steve kerr type nor a semi-star quality pf (grant, rodman, kukoc).

I'm not disputing that. I'm saying it was all a mistake on his part and he would've been better off here.

I also agree that he would have better staying in Toronto than joining the Clippers.

The Hyena ain't physical enough to lock down PFs anymore IMO. The Jackal doesn't want any of that action either, and PJ is old as dirt. They don't have a wing stopper like Pippen. The Jackal is basically a big a** guard IMO.

ESPN expert Steven A. Smith shared his opinion on the Clippers' performance after the transfer of James Harden .

“Everything is terrible. Tyronn Lue needs to quickly figure out how to get out of Los Angeles. Seriously, how is this supposed to work?

Harden ranks 461st among all NBA players in terms of “+/-” - “-16.8.” Only Anfernee Simons (-27) is lower on the list, but the Portland guard appeared in only one game of the season before leaving with an injury

James Harden needs the ball, Russell Westbrook needs the ball. And they are not even the team's main scorers. Their style is to organize an attack, creating an episode for their teammates or themselves. Don't run between screens without the ball like Steph Curry. This won't work.

Russell Westbrook and James Harden won't do that. I have the Statue of Liberty behind me, and I will say this: even she can move more than James Harden.:LLLLLebronlaughing: The puzzle just doesn't fit. You can't fit a cube into a round hole.

Yea, and they HAVE beaten us. A lot. Their problem seems to be more with the other 27 teams. They haven't done jack since Ballmer bought 'em.

Freud would've called what the Clips have: Lakers Envy.

BTW: do they know the cause of that fire that shut down the 10 freeway? Have they looked into where Harden was?

Only reason I ask is this: everywhere he goes he burns bridges.

Yea, but you're not giving Beardie enough credit. Add this: the Clips were ranked #4 in Offensive Efficiency before they sent away their core supporting players for Beardie; they're now #30 after only 4 games with him. He got them to fall 26 places in only 4 games! Talk about efficiency!

I've never heard of a team so dedicated to such a b******* narrative

No chemistry. Your locker room was gone. Everyone was finger pointing and blaming the other one. You couldn't beat a Disney Mascot starting 5 if you tried. You didn't let off the gas, you got whooped and STILL lying.
