I can't believe they put Hoyer back out there, but they did. Pick 6.

    Time to go, JMD.

Four passes, one almost picked, one for 5 yards, one for a first, and then an INT.

Nice to see AOC get his first career TD.

    Fire McDaniels.

Start AOC. This season is lost.

Purgatory... Not bad enough to get a Top 10 pick and not good enough to make the playoffs. Now we get a Detroit team that is smarting after their loss today in Baltimore.

Won't happen until near the end of the season if it does.

If McBonehead is booted, will Ziegler follow?

I don’t know. And I don’t know much about him except he’s a patriot man.

looks like Renfrow is being moved.

So they had a big Coaches/Players Meeting recently where everything was discussed on the table... We'll see if it has an effect. Doubtful since our coaching save our defense has been horrid.

I believe the Raiders are the only team with a Black GM and Head Coach, even if only temporary.

Looks that way. And a new OC, to boot. Bo Hardegree takes over.

Man last night was huge for us. I was not a Josh Mcd hater but he lost me with his response to media after the loss to the chargers where he basically threw aiden under the bus and then his response for not pulling Hoyer in the 2nd half (I didn't have an issue starting him) for Aiden where he said it wasn't the preseason anymore. That was the big ones for me. He never took credit for the struggles. Patrick G after the Chicago game answered every question with an ending of "I have to do better....." he wouldn't throw his guys under the bus. I respected that and the defense responded. I thought they played a hell of a game against the Lions. Some bad plays but they played solid and we could of and should of won.

For the season I didn't think Jimmy was horrible but he also wasn't good. The first 3 games I chalked up our offensive woes to the O line not giving the qbs time. But game after game he started to not make the plays. He started looking like D Carr without the angry outburst and the deep sh*tty throws down field. Those two passes to Devante last game were so bad I would of benched him then. In the end, I don't dislike Jimmy nor do I think he "sucks" as a qb. However, not being able to get the ball to Devante, Jacobi, Renfrow or Meyers with Josh Jacobs in the back field says a lot about the ability to lead when it maters. Oh and that interception after our fumble recover was worse than any rookie to play.

McD lost the team. His inability to push any button that was right meant he had to go. 7 points in this game and less than 20 points (offensively) for 8 games is shameful. He needed to go and I am glad Mark did it.

Zeigler I am surprised by because i think he was doing a decent job. I think had he gone to mark and said we needed to fire Josh he'd (zeigler) would still have a job. thats my speculation anyway.

Lets see what we do now

Yes, that "not preseason anymore" did not sit well with me either. Holds everyone accountable except himself. Never liked the hire from the get-go and wanted Bisaccia.

Yes that showed me he wasn't a leader at all. They picked the kid and he crapped on him twice. I loved Rich but I wasn't sold he was the right pick moving fwd either. I wouldnt have hated if we kept him though because he had the boys fighting for him and he was a real dude. I could get behind a coach who isn't about his ego but about the soldiers going to war with and for him.

As for Josh I didn't hate it. Taking the emotion and failure out of the window I don't think Josh Mcd's offense was bad. I think execution was bad. Some unlucky stuff but in the end he seems he had the ego of "my way" without the creed of it. He had to go plain and simple. Not being able to adjust (btw Gruden didn't either), being stubborn with his QB choice (ego based choice) and not taking accountability. Im glad its over. Hyped for next game.

Exactly about Bisaccia. If he had more than capable coordinators, he'd have been fine. On McDaniels, his concepts could be considered antiquated. Let's see about Pierce.

I fully agree with you, Puffy, about not being a leader. You can’t s*** on a rookie who was not put into a position to succeed but still played a solid second half. He seems to have learned nothing from his first trip to the HC seat. Sad.

I don’t hate the guy, and I wish him well. But good riddance.

IN Austin Ajiake LB (Practice Squad)
    IN Isaac Darkangelo (Practice Squad)
    IN Jaylon Smith LB
    OUT David Long CB

Jaylon Smitih was a 65 last year. Solid. He's been pretty good in pass coverage. But I presume there's a reason he hasn't been on active roster.
