I thought we’d end up 6-4 or 7-3 after 10 games. This was one of the games I expected a loss but it always stinks actually watching it happen especially when we could have won.
the back court has been the problem in every game, imo. both sides of the ball, as others have pointed out.
It seems like every game is more of the same: Opponent hits their open threes. We miss ours. It has gotten to a point where I am surprised when we actually make our wide open shots.
What the hell happened that they went with Gabe instead of Dennis. At least if he's 3 not falling he would attack the rim and play tough D. This is the story of the off season so far: Prince , Wood, Hayes are playing well for the most part. It's the backcourt that has sucked balls
I think Cam has been better than Gabe and that's an issue because one we weren't expecting to play and the other we needed at least 24-28 quality minutes from.
well, to be fair, we're also definitely in "historically bad shooting to start the year" territory again. that's been a factor. that and playing against two teams that finished in the top 3 last year on the road. we've certainly not done ourselves any favors in any of the games, but the two losses were games i expected to lose, tbh. i don't know why we have to start every single year looking like garbage, though. it's really frustrating and kinda takes the air of the anticipation. like, are you excited to watch the orlando game? i am not.
lol, all clips games are always losses; i've stopped questioning it. i honestly think lebron and AD believe it, too, so there's going to be some tightness in that orlando game...
As always, I'm tired of losing to the Clippers and just feel like we need to step up to the occasion for once and end the foolishness. But I can see us predictably coming out tight and losing again.
I thought Gabe did an admirable Dennis impersonation as far as defense goes. Had he hit a couple of shots, we'd be praising him. Problem is -- AR and DAR laying an egg and Gabe playing 1000 minutes. Which we all knew would happen, as Pimple can't help his fetish.
