Clippers have about $2 million of the full MLE remaining. Pierce agreed to mini-MLE money because they were operating under the assumption that would be all they have after signing Deandre. I hope Pierce's agent gets tough with the Clips now and tells them that he wants the full MLE now.

Won't be surprised if that were to transpire. They need an presence inside but he won't provide the same level of defense and athleticism. Loads of glowers and not much else. The speed of the game renders him useless in major minutes. poundforpound had Perkins' list of free agent visits. As we speak, I'm sure he's conducting second and third visits at those venues.
