Optimism Discussion: The Laker's Sky Is Not Falling

With several back story genuine BB and Bro love affairs going on ….. Bron-AD, AR-DLO, Rui-New life as a Laker and the amount of Highlight plays going to be generated from the talent and athleticism on this team ….. the chemistry on this squad is going to blow past the lofty heights of the 2019-2020 championship squad. No doubt!!

 

there was a lineup with AD and lebron sitting, playing against opposing rotation players, that actually extended the lead!

think it was hayes/prince/rui/reaves/dlo.

 

I really like that line up.

Playmakers in DAR and Reaves, scorer in Rui, and do everything else players in Prince and Hayes

DLo
Prince
Rui
Hayes

Heck, I’ve seen worse starting lineups in the post-Kobe Achilles era. We have a very deep bench.

 

I think as long as we have 3 of our top 6 + the rest of the depth, I think we have a good shot most nights. Now obviously if you have to go multiple games in a row like that, guys start getting tired and worn down but on any given Sunday, I think they can stay in the mix.

What a wild, unbelievable sprint to a real roster in the matter of 9 months.

 

Where did they have Rob rated as front office executive …. like 14th or something? As anti biased and wrong as what they do to AD.

 

The biggest question of this season will be : Can both Bron and A.D be available for the entire postseason twice in a row ? If yes , 18 is on the way

 

Preseason or not, we won a game we definitely would’ve lost last year. I’m pleased.

Vando, Cam, even Gabe may have to worry about minutes in the playoffs. Christie with DLo and REeaves in terms of size/defense at the guard spot and just a bunch of bigs guys with skill and shooting coming at you.
