We can absorb Hibbert, if the Pacers hate him that much

Not sure I blame them in this case. Think about it: If you're the Lakers coming off their worst-ever season, and you hear LMA has you near the top of his list perhaps over his current 51-win team, you've gotta assume his interest goes beyond just X's & O's, right?

I can see why they played to the tangible strengths they can point to. On the court stuff was addressed, but not right off the bat.

I'm much more concerned with how they're going about executing their contingency plans for the roster than their pitch to Aldridge here.

saw mcdaniels mentioned; I'd like that pickup for several reasons, one being f*** Houston.

The thing about a team like ours is that our experience over the course of a season is going to go from zero to 60. Our average age is 24.5, and only Kobe and Young are over 26. We'll enter the season with basically 6 rookies (I'm including Upshaw and Randle). They'll grow up quickly. With a healthy Kobe we might find a favorable matchup and win a playoff series.

This is a great idea. Nene can play; I just don't know if we have enough assets to pull it off...

    Nene +2.7 wins, -30

I'm not sure he's better than Amar'e, but beggars can't be choosers.

No. I was responding to RROFY's post about getting close to the 8th seed through moves and trying to sneak in. I just said that I'm projecting our current roster at 24-40 wins.

I thought nene did some good things for the wiz last year; I'd be surprised if they wanted to dump him.

He's a part time actor, he'll fit right in. Don't know why he didn't opt out there's a lot of teams who'll overpay him after missing out on the marquee names.

I'm surprised that it's so low. J.Hill has always been such a good fit in my eyes. Maybe I'm wrong

we have cap space, that's what they want. It'd be similar to the Suns and Pistons trade. Probably give up a future 2nd.
