I'd rather be a 5 win team than sign Rondo to a multi-year deal worth anything close to what he wants. Actually, I might rather give the minimum to Ronnie Price than give the minimum to Rondo. Dude is toxic, he had some trade value last season as he was actually traded, but if we tried to trade him he'd have no value, because if even a desperate team like us didn't want him, you know you're in for trouble with him. If you try to trade him at the deadline for the second year in a row, nobody is going to want that.

I'd rather watch sacre shoot 3 pointers then watch rondo shoot 10 feet out.

Signing Rondo at this juncture would be disastrous. The damage control involved in such a tragedy would on the same scale as a Kobe trade.

I don't even want Aldridge at this point. want to see Randle starting at the 4 and explodes on everybody. just bring a f***** center and a SF. sign a solid bench, and all the fans would be happy. nobody had expectations signing a big player, the managment made them in the last 2 weeks only to disappoint us. it's like offering a child a candy and then throwing it away. just build the team and let us enjoy grandpa Kobe and the children around him.

Good for Matthews, glad his injury didn't cost him a pay day. Kings are 0/2 on their targets, so it's fun to watch their misery to take my mind of our own situation.

Agreed. I have changed my stance on Harris, so my preference would be:
    1. DJ and Mo Williams + cheap vet wing
    2. Harris and Bismack + cheap vet pg

Jeanie is definitely regressing in my mind as an owner. I mean she's married to another rival GM, has beef with her brother and has had no direction for us to get behind.

Jim just seems like the spoiled rich sibling that inherited all daddy's wealth and is just pissing it all away.

Mitch has done A LOT of talking these past 2 years and has done absolutely nothing to back it up. Aside from the draft, he's done NOTHING to improve this team since Dwight left.

Think about it. Since Dwight left the only players that we have to build a team for the future is JC/Russell/Randle/Black. In 3 years, that's all we have to show? We have left too many 2nd tier FA go that could have really improved this team. With no draft pick next year and no chance at any top tier FA, what is this FO doing? What is the plan?

They've brought the same plan, the same presentation to Dwight, Melo, LMA and have a half-a** meeting to DJ.

This is getting old, they are not doing what they said they would, and they are a David Lee trade away from having me lose all respect for them as leaders of the Lakers. Dr. Buss has to be rolling in his grave watching them stumble through meetings and making us look like a circus.

I don't care whats the center's name at this point. I just want a big guy who can defend the basket, hit the open shot near the basket and be a solid passer. its the managment job to find him, otherwise it's a failure. If Hill had better defence i would've want him.

The SF position on the other hand is crucial. I would put effort on getting Harris. And next year he would probably agree to be our 6th man with Durant on the team.

So, are we going to do something or just wait for DJ and LA?

If we're lucky, maybe we'll get some movement by the weekend.

Yep. She is serious. There needs to be a shakeup in the front office and dare I say also the coach. We have just been publicly humiliated through the media. It's disheartening...

not sure what's happening here...1) they're trying to get Karl to quit by assembling the dumbest, most problematic roster ever. 2) they're completely clueless. 3) both.

I'm done. Where's all these FA that wanted to come to LA Byron? Why didn't we just sign Hill to a multi-year deal at a cheaper rate the 1st time?

Who would want Kosta or RoLo for the price you are going to pay HIll and take on Lee?

    Bunch of morons up there.
