This is going to be like the steroided version of the 2013 season where I kind wanted us to lose so Mike Brown would get fired.

Stealth won't work to guarantee a top 3. Got to be blatant and obvious about it this year. Don't think we have the talent to close out any games this year, unless Kobe has plans of his own. Start Swaggy all 82 and give him the green light, he'll buy you at least 6 losses.

I'd like to think there are things going on in the background that will make us a better team. I can't imagine a complete strike out. I think a trade is inevitable if we don't get a big FA. They will have to show some progress whether it's real or not.

Lakers need to hire some sharp basketball minds ASAP! Just because you have the last name Buss, does not mean you have the background knowledge and intelligence to run a basketball franchise.

Our past history was run by a forward thinking gamechanger in Jerry, but times have changed and if you don't keep up you will be out of touch with todays NBA. Our last 3 seasons of free agent meetings have been disasters. Why can Phoenix impress Aldridge but our front office is having AEG and Time Warner Cable talking about crap that players don't care about?
The Lakers are like the old grandma buying bad sweaters for their grandkids at XMas. Just so out of touch.

Be like Ballmer and own the team but have someone else run it. We are exactly like the Knicks with their crappy owner who screws things up and players don't want to go there.

I feel like our FO went and met with a few of the top FAs and just sit their twiddling their thumbs waiting for an answer before going on to contact the rest of the FAs.

Lopez went to the Knicks... unless Jordan does. Why would you sign a runner up agreement like that?

If we miss out on LMA, do we go all in for the tank? See if Philly still wants Russell badly enough to give up Okafor + send us our pick back? Gamble on young FA's that could be potential building blocks, and if we lose the consolation prize is another high pick. I personally like Russell's star potential a lot more than Okafor's, but the idea of another terrible season and not even keeping our pick absolutely disgusts me.

Not the least bit surprised RoLo picked NY over us. They're a better team in their division than we are in ours.

After catching hell, Phil is actuality doing good this summer. We won't know about Porz for a few years, but Grant can play. Everyone thought he was getting Monroe, but the second that fell through he put on a blitz to get Lopez. Meanwhile, we're too busy taking 2nd meeting, getting jerked around, and waiting by the phone. And he added AA below market value. They're still targeting PFs and PGs...they're a playoff team and we're going to lose probably a few scrubs we're targeting to them this summer when we're trying to find warm bodies to fill out a roster.

The ink is drying, LaMarcus accepted a future ownership stake with the Lakers. Welcome your 2015 Laker starting center and future minority owner LaMarcus Aldridge!
