    Even if LMA & Harris go elsewhere, we aren't officially out of the running for a GREAT player. It might mean trading 1 of our young guys away & taking on salary, but it beats another year of 1 year deals & nothing to build on outside of the young guys.

    This LMA meeting is just to smooth things out between LMA's agent and the Lakers. Thats it. I doubt LMA can be persuaded to join the Lakers now.

    Man that Portland team fell apart fast. Should have been on the phones with RoLo from the start. 12 million for a starting caliber center won't be s*** next season.

    I'm thinking Doc is right. Our meeting is trying to get both Robin and Aldridge here. Obviously unlikely but I think that's the small hold up right now.

    Using the term great loosely, as it was being implied that LMA is a great player. But someone on Harris or LMA's level. When the FA pool is dried up there are going to be other teams that failed to land the players they wanted & will start shopping for them via trade.

    If we got robin i'd hope aldridge is on board as well

    Because paying 13 mil for r lopez is ridiculous if koufos or biyombo would come cheaper
