the comments are all like "what a steal for dallas" but i'm of the opinion that bogdanovic is likely to fall off a steep cliff any minute. det probably held onto him too long, imo. the extension was smart, but they needed to move him for a 1st at the deadline.

While the message might have some truth is Baby Davis really the right messenger? That would be like Michael Bay giving filmmaking advice.

No. He's nothing but explosions, stylized color, and eye candy. He's a TV commercial director who never grew up or grew in his craft.

You really have to shut the brain off to even sit through any of his "films." I don't know why there's like a dozen Transformer films or why they keep giving him money to make them. The only things he's done I like were successful despite him: Bad Boys (Will and Martin with all time chemistry), The Rock (mid-late 90s Cage could do no wrong) and Bad Boys 2 (Will at peak of powers, good movie until Cuba 3rd act)

Ben had some notes for Bay during Armageddon (NSFW: LANGUAGE)

Back to hoops, this turnover rate is wild

How bout Pain and Gain? I thought that was a good movie. I also think the Island is a stupid fun action film along with Ambulance and 13 hours. You can disregard his importance to Bad Boys, The Rock and Armageddon but i think those movies succeeded cause of his style too. Is he great, absolutely not but he's made some good movies.

I hate the GOAT debate so much. Jordan wasn't significantly better than others on his tier.

In terms of best player on the floor? Give me 2000 Shaq. No one can stop that.

Kobe, Jordan, Wade, etc.. All amazing. But it's not like Michael was so amazing the conversation can't happen. People just think MJ won all those rings on his own. His supporting cast was beyond great.

Javale is the old version of Hayes.

Stein echoes the same news on Dallas radio this morning regarding McGee

Older, more mature, consistent championship version of Hayes. Makes his perfectly qualified to show Hayes the ropes and how to get to where he needs to be.

I know some want McGee but he's the exact same archetype of player as Hayes so it would be pointless. Plus he is most likely cooked as he's turning 36. I'd much rather have Biyombo or Thompson who have more beef.

Yeah. McGee and Dwight were great for us in 2020 but they’re both done as good NBA players.

I'd prefer Biyombo at this point because there's more left on the tread. But if Wood and Biyombo aren't willing to take the min, then the pool gets really shallow out there.

I'd take McGee over TT. But would take either over Wood.

Dwight is cooked. Injuries and focus defeated him.

I don't think McGee is done. He's close, but I think there's another season, maybe 1.5 seasons left. Two seasons ago with the Suns he was serviceable:
74 games, 17 starts, 16 MPG, 9 points, 7 boards and a block a game. Without injury, I don't think he went from that to unplayable in a matter of months. For whatever reason he just didn't work in Kidd's system.
